With our great playcalling oc, I say mustangs 18, horns 0. By the way, did anybody catch the score of the Bay City, Brenham game last nite? That tough Bay City Defense gave up 40 points.

There is only one person who could be the next head coach at WOS, and that is Coach T. He has been there at least since my freshman year in 1982. He deserves the job.

No offense, but the last two times we played central it was blowout victories. In 2005 we won 28 - 12, and in 2004 it was 48 - 0 and the clock ran the entire second half. I don't think we are backing down from bay city since this is the first time they have beaten us in four years. I talked to one of the coaches the other day and he said that we were gonna play ozen, lcm, and ned or png for next years preseason. It does not make since to travel two hours to play a 4a school, when you can go 20 minutes and get a similar matchup. You need to worry about beating dayton! It has not been a problem for us, and I can't exactly say the same for those jaguars.

Have you ever heard the phrase go with your first instinct? I think the Ole Leader had it correct with the first article. The second is to simply keep the subscriptions from the two or three people in Orange that were affended by the Pruitt article, and probably called in to complain. Stand behind your original opinion Ole Leader, don't waffle on us. That is the problem, there is too much waffling going on with this entire situation. I am now paying for three subscriptions to make up for those two people that were affended.

Are you kidding me cardfan? We complain about the oc daily, weekly, yearly, and especially when we scored only six points against lcm. I was at the game, and the only thing that was working, the full backfield, we stopped running once we got in the red zone. It is almost like we try not to score points when we get into the red zone. For example on the one yard line RUN THE QB SNEAK!!! As for the people that are posting against the facts that are being pointed out, why are you so defensive? Fact is we ran 70 plays against bay city, and had 12 points. Fact is we had first and goal on the one yard line against ozen in 02 and never ran a sneak(6'5" QB) and came away with no points. Fact is in 06 we had first and goal AGAIN on the one yard and never ran the sneak, and we AGAIN came away with nothing. Fact is we were getting five and six yards a play in the full house backfield against lcm, and changed formations. Fact is maybe not the majority, but definately a large number of the true mustang fans are tired of the same mistakes by the same oc year in and year out. I have definately never put the blame solely on one guy. My point is always been that compared to the oc's we have had in the past, he does not measure up. Especially in the playoffs, or that is when we have even made the playoffs since he has been calling plays. ANOTHER FACT!!! Don't get mad at the truth!!!

So let me get this straight not only do you think that we were not as good as Liberty Hill last year, but now our running back was only good because he had some D-1 guys around him. What kind of fan are you? Are you a friend or foe? You don't think Tremaine Lewis was all that. Tremaine Lewis has two rings and the oc at that time did not have any D-1's in the backfield he was a very good coach, unlike what we have now. Apparently Ronnie Dennis, a three year starter, Josh Rhodes, a two year varsity player, Josh Gloston, who can fly, Trey Franks, whose last name speaks for itself, is not enough talent for the oc to work with. All I am hearing is excuses from you. That is plenty of talent in 3a. What about all the talent that the oc has pissed away the last two years? What is your excuse for that? In 2005 he had Beasley - UT, E. Thomas - UT, J.Franks - Texas Tech, L. White U of H, and that is not to mention DPG and several other talented WR's. You have no arguement for that or excuses. That is embarrising.

Once again 071904 you got me. I guess me and everybody else on this board, in the news, and in the stands are wrong, and you are correct. You can't see any points or anything else that we are talking about. I however have been through the wos program and have much respect for Coach T, Coach Foreman, Coach Hooks, and the others that I was coached by. I know you didn't go through the program so I wont even ask the question. I owe alot to the REAL wos coaches that I had. I probably would not have the job that I have today if it wasn't for the discipline that I took from the program. Forgive me if I don't disclose my place of employment to you, I don't see how that is relavent. I however do have relatives coming up through the mustang program in the next couple of years, and I don't want them to have to suffer with the same mistakes by the same oc over, and over, and over, and over again (Ozen 02, Giddings 06, LCM 07, Bay City 07). These are just some of the ones that come to mind, but I am sure that you will have a valid excuse or you wont get the point. Bottom line is I am in the majority and you in denial. THE KIDS DESERVE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew I was not the only one that this would be so obvious to see. If you cannot see that there needs to be a change made on this staff then you clearly need your eyes or your brain checked out. Apparently 071904 you are not educated on the 2006 wos football team. We had three college football players on offense alone. Two of those players are in the big twelve, and that is not counting the ones that will go on to play college ball from this years team. So don't give me that Liberty Hill was so much better than us crap. Dayton thought the same thing the last two years, as did Palestine in 05, as did Aldine MacArther in 85 and 86, as does Jasper most years, along with many other teams. Unfortunately, we will never get a chance to show you that, because we refuse to get underneath the qb and run the sneak like they do in little and the nfl. I guess you are correct, the wos fans should just accept a first or second round loss every year, or maybe no playoffs all together. At least nobody is saying anything mean about the oc, that's the important thing. I would hate for anybody to be held accountable for doing there job. Maybe the kids coming up in the seventh and eighth grades will have a chance to win a ring, because maybe by that time a change will have been made. OK 071904, you win I will stop being mean to your oc, but don't come back on here with we don't have enough talent to beat liberty hill. That's a terrible attempt to try to shed light on terrible playcalling, and I don't think any real mustang fan will buy that.

aggierwe, we do appreciate your input on this board, even if nobody is listening to you. There is no doubt that something is definately going on with this oc and him still having employment at wos. The wos players and the rest of the staff have had to overcome him for going on 9 years. You do speak the truth about one thing aggiesrwe, and that is Coach Hooks definately needs to step in and do something. Unless Coach Hooks is satisfied with ending his career with two rings then he will make a change, because the current oc couldn't win a ring if you spotted him 21 points in the state championship game. We are averaging a whopping 13 points per game. If it wasn't for an unbelievable effort from the kids, and a great job of coaching from Coach T, then we would be 0-3. Stop CHEATING the kids, and make a change.

To answer your question truthfully skipper, anybody could do better than what he is doing. However you are correct, it will not be a change that can be made until after the season is over. If there is not a change made by next year than somebody has dropped the ball. I know I will not be attending many more games if that is the case, and I know several people that have stopped coming due to the frustration in the play calling. Regardless, the kids DESERVE better.

For many years I have gone to wos games, and I am an x-mustang my self, and I have no idea why this oc still has a job. What have the mustangs accomplished since we have had this oc. I don't think that it is fair to the kids that give their all every day to be slighted come gametime by a guy who has no business running our offense. I don't care if we bring in toby or coach byerly or if coach t runs the o and d, but we need somebody different. Is coach hooks really related to this guy? That sure would explain alot. If the people in the stands can tell what play is coming next, then how do you think the other team can predict them. We should have at least one, maybe two rings in 3a. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!! Coach Hooks PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a change!!! The kids DESERVE better!!!
