dern kinda harsh don't you think. I think Lumberton should be happy if anyone would want that job. It is the toughest district with the worst players and apparently the worst parents. They don't compete in any of the sports. Seems like Lumberton would need a little league coach!!!

should be alot of hardin, newton, ec kids!! The catcher and 1st basemen from Newton were real good. Hardin has some good pitching, EC can play some good defense. Alot of deserving kids!!

4 coaches in 4 years, 2 years ago did not even finish the year. With all the success of the football team it is good for the baseball team to be able to represent the school with pride as well!!!

I want to give props to Newtons seniors. They have been through so much in their 4 years and to end it with a district championship is as sweet as it can get. They are about as hot as you can get,they have won 10 of their last 12. It says alot about Newton kids for them to make it all the way back!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!

who wins this game? It is a huge game for both teams!! If Newton wins and Hardin wins tie for district championship (coin flip). If Dewyville wins and Newton wins, Newton is district champ, Hardin 2nd, Dewyville and EC will flip for 3rd. The district screwed all the teams by not playing 2 last week!!! From what I hear none of the baseball coaches had a say in how things played out. How sweet it must be to be an administrator!!!
