[/quote] You know what....every year teams all over the state play and have to play schools with bigger enrollments.  Fair doesn't have anything to do with it.  If you don't like it transfer your kid to a different school.  Or play 6 man.  Or don't play football at all.  I've seen many times teams playing with 1 or 2 kids on the sidelines.  I've even been involved in a few of those games as a young man. And we were a 3A school.  So you have no idea what's it like to play out numbered until you play a 3A schedule with 14 kids. [/quote]I kinda think 2 teams making the playoffs would be better if Div I and Div II continues.  My junior year we played our district schedule with only 12 players and we were 2A.  So yeah, it was tough.  But we dang sure didn't deserve to go the playoffs simply because we were a good bunch of kids that played their butts off!  No, we barely got through it and hoped for better days to come and they did.  Not for us but for future teams that wore our uniform.  This many 1A and 2A teams making the playoffs is just too "feel good" to me.  BUT, it's the system we have so we play and back our teams...

I agree a little with 55.  The Cats can play and are always tough at home.  I may be the only person from Evadale that's pulling for HD but I'm still partial to the old District.  Except of course the next time the Rebs and the Cats meet (and they will some day) I hope the Rebs beat the ever-loving snot outta HD!  LOL Having said all that, I'm pulling for ya but I think Lovelady is just too tough this year, so I'm saying LL in a real close game.  Good luck to both.

Not knowing a thing about C C except by how much we beat a team that played a team they played and beat (whew), it's hard to say. I understand they are probably pretty solid.  I do also know that the Rebels of Evadale are pretty solid themselves.  So, I'm not going to give a spread prediction but I really feel the Rebs are up for a good contest.  And I do hope it is a good contest.  We need it. Strap em on Rebels and in my ole famous words before you run through the tunnel, "Hit Em In The Mouth"!!!

Rebel running back did a coach ordered "hook slide" at the 32yd line bringing up a 3rd down.  The Rebels kicking team hustled out and Josh Swift nailed a 52yd field goal with plenty of foot to spare!!!   Rebels 1st team pretty much sat out the 2nd half and some 2nd string players got some good playing time.  Congrats Rebs!!!  Keep working...

Its been almost 3 years since Evadale lost a district game.  They were perfect in '08-'09, perfect in '09-'10 and as of now are perfect this year.

I didn't see much speed or power running from West Hardin when they visited Evadale.  They may have had an off night but they were contained all night by the Rebel defense.  If HD plays hard-nosed defense, the Cats should win by a couple TD's. Good luck to both and hope one of these teams makes the playoffs.  I'm still partial to the "old" district.
