Colmesneil is heading in the right direction, but I dont think they are ready to knock the Cats off just yet. HD is stingy on defense and I still think they will win out from here. Hope its a good game with no injuries.

Haven't seen Colmesneil except in the Evadale/Colmesneil scrimmage (I think these two scrimmaged). I believe the cats will take this one by a couple scores. JMO

That was the worse conditions I've ever seen on a football field. I know its been raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock, but dang, put a crown on the field! It wasn't only wet, it was flat out MUDDY. Field started out terrible before the game and it rapidly deterorated to horrible. OK enough of that. Both teams were extremely limited as to what they could attempt. The Rebs totally controlled the line of scrimmage the second half and just ground it out. Good job Stangs, lot more grit than last year. Keep rolling Rebs and take care of your business, one game at a time.

You're right, we have the same passion for our respective teams and it seems this HD/Evadale game is becoming a showdown every year. Already lookin forward to next years game. I said when it was rumored that Harper was heading back to Bville that would improve quickly, and they have. I don't think they have improved enough to stay with Evadale this year. Evadale does have some work to do as they seemed a little flat the last two weeks. I'll say Evadale by 3 scores, which is a ton closer than last years score. Don't turn your back on the Stangs just yet Rebs, they'll be in the thick of it soon. And I did put another order in for no injuries, lets hope that order getrs filled.

It seemed from my point of view, and I was pretty high up, that the momentum as our player slid caused the ball to break the plain. It was close and I could be wrong, but I think it was the right call.

Physical game...Gilmore for HD is tough!! Turnovers made the difference in this game. Another game by these two teams that was fought in the trenches!!! Congrats to the Rebs, take care of your business the rest of the way. Good game Bobcats, good luck the rest of the way.

Half...Evadale 20 HD 6 Another Reb player out for the season on first play of game. Compound fracture.

Absolutely hate to see these season ending injuries!!! Evadale hasn't been hit quiet as bad as HD, but we did lose speedy/quick Potts for the season against Kountze and his replacement against SP. I've seen the Rebs (of course) and saw HD play Kountze, and I agree, this will be a dog fight!! Being at the Battlefield in Evadale, I've gotta go with the Rebs by a TD. I've put an order in for no injuries, hope that order gets filled!!!
