GREAT, GREAT game Lady's.  IMO that's the best we've played all year!  Hitters were hitting, blockers were blocking and #15 was awesome at spreading the ball around on the sets to keep the Pirates guessing.  Keep swinging #1, knew you had it in you! All around great effort.

Lumberton is a little suspect on defense (but I think it's fixable) but the offense is on the right track.  In the early games Lumberton will need to score several points to outlast some folks. Lumberton-35 Jasper-21

Lady Rebs started off with a bang, then the Lady Warriors showed up!  The Rebs had every chance to fold-up and call it a night as they were down 2-1 going into the 4th game.  Coach H called as many time outs as she could and kept the girls in it.  I was really impressed that the Rebs rallied the way they did and pulled it out. Great job #1, you played the net better than you ever have! (100% on serves too)...yeah, I'm dad.  :) ::) Great job to the entire team, remember, "it ain't over till it's over"!!!!

I certainly agree!!  Coach H has had the gals in some tough scrimmage's with the likes of PA Mermorial, Silsbee, Vidor, Kirbyville and East Chambers.  Although the Rebs W-L record in these scrimmage's is not great they were in every match and usually the spread was less than 5 points.  I believe when district rolls around thats exactly what Lady's will be doing, ROLLING!!!

Ole Coach Williams sure looks excited..LOL.  Just messing with ya Mark.  The Rebels have been reloading for the last 5 years and I looked for this to be a rebuilding year.  But it looks like Coach Will has some good kids and I believe they will look sharp as always!

Great story!  It was a good read for me as my son, a junior at Texas A&M, has recently shared with my wife and I that he feels called to the ministry and will go straight into seminary after graduating from A&M.  Well, I have had mixed feelings but stories like this kinda put things into perspective.

From the info I've gotten they seem to be down this year, but they have a pretty darn good coach so we'll see.

Lance is a Spark Plug!!!  Lots of excitement and a real go-getter!  He knows is Xs and Os and the kids will love him.  I do not know the other finalist but I believe Dale would do a great job.

Douglas recorded 11 hits (too many).  Evadale recorded 10 hits (should  be enough to win).  Douglas recorded 3 errors, kinda sloppy.  Evadale recorded 7 errors, UHHHHHH.  Get your heads screwed on Rebs and show em you can play baseball!  We've seen it for the last 3 seasons, now go take two the hard way!!!

[/quote]If you have any idea of Coach Mark Williams, the Rebels will not over-look anyone.  He will have em prepared and they will know what kind of pitchers and hitters they'll face.  They may loose (but I doubt it) but it wont be due to over confidence.
