Injuries are part of the game but MAN, I hate em. Injuries, especially season ending ones, can really take a toll on a young guys morale and cheats him (or her) out of at least 1/4 of their career in sports. I'm with Trophy, lets have some good football and NO MORE INJURIES!!! Good luck to the cats Friday night.

Tend to agree with you Gregg...You never know, the ball has a funny shape to it and it tends to take some strange bounces. Everyone stay healthy and may the best teams win!

No one go nuts over this, I have a legit question concerning HF. I've been to several HF games over the last 20 years and those guys always played good football and had the expectation to win. Now I'm hearing that they do not have a JV. Again, don't read anything into this but what is going on in HF that has the program limping?

Vball usually starts early enough that if the football game is not too far away, you can watch both. I know that happened this friday...I watched the Lady Rebs and still made Kountze/HD where I found several Evadale players. :-\

I have no idea what he's talking about...I was there and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Was a hard fought game where neither team quit. If you can save a kid like Howard till the final quarter, that's a ton of fresh legs coming at you. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way, except for the meeting with HD at the Battlefield.

It wasn't 70-0 it as 63-0 but HI has improved alot since last year so i think its gonna be a close one Theres no way the Cards have improved...IMO... Just looking at the score difference of the Legacy/Evadale game and the Legacy/HI game, its going to be a LONG night for the Cards, again, JMO. I'm pulling for Cards but I don't think they have it in the....uh, cards. (sorry) Hey, maybe I'm wrong.

should be a good one. WS has some speed and looked good at times in an early scrimmage against Evadale in which Evadale won (if there is such a thing in a scrimmage) Deweyville didn't do much right against the Rebels in opening week of play but you gotta believe they will get better. Potts leaves a hole no doubt. But the Rebs have great numbers again this year and I dont believe it will be something the Rebels cant work around. Potts went down in the first series against Kountze and his replaceman ts were ready and willing to step in...and they did!

Legacy in a close one...

Kountze is very physical. They do seem to make mental mestakes and have costly penalties that Evadale took advantage of. I think it will be a close game in which the more disciplined team will win. Lions 28 bobcats 14

Take it from an 82 grad pirate...this team has been eat up with class since Williams has been back in Evadale. We've had a few years that we had one or two, not so clean players, but this year and the last SEVERAL, we've played hard nose football and helped the other guy up. These guys, like all of us, still have plenty to learn, but it doesn't involve a lack of class. Great game Rebs...keep pluggin fellas. One game at a time and keep your goals close at hand...
