Really hate to hear that about HF...hasn't been too many years ago they were always "salty". Had lots of team and school spirit. Too bad, hope they can get it turned around.

Just to get something off my chest, then my predictions...I too have Blue and Gold in my veins and to my knowledge, I'm not what could be considered a trash talker. (at least I hope not) So, for everyone from Evadale to be a trash talker is kinda...harsh. The extent of my trash talking, if it can be called that, is with HD55, but I know where he's coming from with his loyalty to his team. So even at that, it's all in fun. I respect all the 1A teams and wish em well, except for certain dates on the schedule. MY PREDICTIONS... Congrats Lady Bucs The Lady Rebs looked pretty good against a very solid EC team. I really didn't think the Rebs would even stay in the gym. Looking good gals..keep working hard. Looking better all the time.

Were both of those scores in the game condition portion of the scrimmage? According to my source over there, each team only scored once during that part of it. It wasn't a true game situation. But when both teams stopped going 20 straight offensive plays then the other team went 20 straight, they started going 10yds for a first. If a team didn't get 10yds they moved the ball to the 20yd line and started over...that format was a 1 score each contest. When the teams go 20 plays (or whatever), regardless if they gain yardage or lose yards on every play, then go to a format where a ref is keeping the spot for a first down, well that's somewhat game like. The Rebels have improved TONS since their "midnight madness" practice, and as I said in an earlier thread, Coach Williams will have the Rebs lined out when it counts. Keep working Rebs, looking good.

I know Huck is a good(great) athlete and looks like the probable starter at QB for Orangefield...but man, I hope HD55 doesn't run across this thread!! ;D ;D ;D jk 55...
