  1. My run through days are over...I'm handing that off to a young fella who thinks that kinda stuff is fun ;D. Oh, I enjoyed it but its time to step down and share the pride...Big A can handle it, I'm headed for the AC!!! 8)
  2. Final...Evadale 15 Latexo 0 Garrett Landis pitched a complete 5 inning shut out for the Rebs as the team once again seems in overdrive! Good job Rebels!!!
  3. TOP OF 5TH...REBS, 14-0. ONE MORE AT BAT REBS, TAKE CARE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!!
  4. Bottom of 3rd...Evadale 11-0. Rebels hitting well and playing the "small ball" well tonight. The large lady should be clearing her throat!
  5. Landis starting pitcher for the Rebs...Latexo has changed pitchers in the 2nd.
  6. I give you perpission to switch some of that nervous to this years #8 Mo. See you in the booth in Sept! I'll be there...
  7. Both teams worked their pitching staff tonight...the Rebs went through just about everyone all the way through their freshmen. Good work for both teams... Pirates-12 Rebels-11 The next one counts Rebs!!!
  8. Both teams must be getting tired of running the basses...11-11 top of 7. Come on Rebs!
  9. If everyone comes out, the Rebs will be fine. They had a HUGE class of seniors last year with lots of heart and loosing those guys may seem a tremendous loss at first glance, but those seniors taught the younger guys not only how to win, but to expect it. And that's a load in any classification. Again, if the Rebs come out in numbers this year as they have the last few, they'll be in good shape when the dust settles. I should be able to relax this year and enjoy the games...those that know me know what I mean. (although I would rather be a little nervous) gonna miss you 14!
  10. 10-7 Pirates, top of 4th...game may last all night! Come on Rebs...looks like your gonna have to out hit em!
  11. Hey COOP....lock this son of a gun, quick!!! ;D
  12. Evadale hosted the Lumberton Raider JV squad this evening and the Rebs came away with an 8-1 victory. Sophomore Dustin Potts pitched 5 solid innings for Evadale and "Rex" Landis closed out with 2 stout innings himself, striking out the side to finish the game. Coach Williams obviously was working on a few things taking advantage of this non-district game. The Rebels bunted often and it seems they were working on their "small" game. On rare occasion "Will" would let the Rebs swing away but no doubt he had some things he wanted to work on. The Lumberton squad was a well disciplined bunch and looks like they have some good "coachable" players coming. Good job both teams...Congrats Rebels.
