No doubt...this has been one of the strangest seasons I can remember. It seems to rain every other game day then the day you can play the opposing team calls to reschedule because of their county fair or family Reunion or well, I better sign off...

I'm with X on this one...guess times change. Back in the day (way back) we grew playing with and against each other and defiantly wanted to beat each other but there was always a kind of respect that has diminished over the last few years. Again, guess times have changed.

Evadale looks OK. They started out with some serious fielding issues but those may be getting better. Their bats are coming around. All in all they are improving but will need to play better infield and give Dubose some help if they want to make noise in the playoffs. As for Buna, they're one of the biggest teams in the state in 2A, they should beat a team with 145 kids in high school, but, Evadale did play Kountze to 4-4 tie. It's district time anyway...get together for a warm up game...

Congrats on a great year! This club was well disciplined and played well together. Good leadership which starts by the example by the COACH. Classy group that I hate to see go...Look forward to next years group, another good bunch of kids!! Evadale has a steady stream coming for the next few years. Again, great job Ladies!!!

Just to lighten things up a bit...and I mean nothing negative...but, Evadale's Big Gym is one of the best in the state. We could argue in top 10 or not (maybe another thread). One of the best in district is an understatement. The Old gym is getting too much use though. Dang hurricanes ;D ;D. Move your feet tonight Rebs and get your tails up and down the floor, you're not out yet!!!

I agree with your turnover point court side. Evadale sometimes has a ton of em. If they limit the TO's, and come out defensively the way they did at HI; Rebs by 6.

I don't know what has ghost so tickled...But yes, this is the biggest points margin so far in the district. I believe HI beat WH by 15 or so a game or two ago. This 25 pt spread is the largest so far.

Congrats Rebs... Evadale had em on their heels all night. VERY aggressive on defense, and although they still have too many turn overs, that didn't seem to kill em tonight. Tonight was the first night in probably four games the Rebs had "all hands on deck". They've been beat-up and sick lately and it was good to have the whole team suit tonight! Keep your focus and never quit!
