IF...IF the Cards play with playoff intensity and keep it close or even jump out in front, the ball has a funny shape to it and strange things can happen. HI needs to paint every garbage can on campus red and black and kick the crap out of em all week, put #7 on some poor kid and tackle him in the halls all day, ie you better sell out to beating Hull or pull out your basketball shoes!!! HD is in the playoffs and may come out flat, (but I doubt it), it's all up to both coaches!!

You may be correct...but IF HI won, wouldn't that put HD, HI and WH all at 4-2? Wouldn't it come down to points spread and who beat who head-to-head? I will tell you I haven't studied the scenario at all. Of course, if HD takes of business, it's Evadale-HD-WH...

The Rebs closed out last night with a convincing 55-14 victory over Chester to go undefeated in district 23 1A and become the undisputed District Champs! Congrats Evadale!!!

Yeah, I'm pulling for our district because it's OUR DISTRICT, but dang man. Teams prepare differently for each opponent and Evadale prepared in a way for HD like I've never seen. The focus all week at practice, the discipline, the "single goal" of beating hull was so evident that I was really worried about a let down the following week. No way HD beats Evadale this year! What am I saying, they didn't! You've got to beat the best to be the best and that's exactly what the Rebels did this year! Playing WH was not nearly the hype as the HD game. Just the way it is. We'll see ya'll again next year, and we'll be ready...again. I just hope HD gives us more locker room material at the appropriate time. I'm not going to post on this thread again as I know how some like to "sling it" back and forth, I'm moving on. Oh congrats HD.

Am i the only one who cant understand what this guy is saying? anyways, after watching the rebs practice today its clear that they are fully prepared for homecoming againt the chester Jackets. their minds are focused and theyre prepared to dominate..stringers arm is looking stronger than ever, and hes really got his team hyped..i cant wait for the big show saturday night at the Rebel Stadium.. Dang!!! I took the week off to go deer hunting and you guys have been getting after it!!! Was thinking about going to Lumberton/Nederland game but I think I'll make this one instead. Lots of love on this thread ;D. This is usually a good one and as I said earlier, I really think it will come down to preparation. Good luck to both. (just have to decide which side to sit on)...

Not sure why the Rebels needed a quick start, especially when the other team doesn't score, but they delivered a hard fought win!! Their defense is STINGY!! Hats off to WH, they have a class program, everyone one both sides of the ball helping each other up all night. (I thought they might be dating each others sisters or something) ;D Seriously, WH kids, coaches and fans are a class act. Good luck the rest of the season...
