1.
Just like any other poll.......what have you done for me lately!!!!
TRUE...
 2. Rebs looking good.  Playing team ball and the defense is really getting fast.  Good ball movement and the coach looked good in his pink shirt...LOL
 3. That's really kinda my point Trophy.  I see no rubbing though.  We're up, and winning a few this year.  BS is a little down and that's the way the ball bounces.  When BS handed us our hats 3 years ago, and it was nice of cat to remind us of that, we took our medicine and looked forward to brighter days.  When the Rebs get beat in any sport you will never see me comment on what we did in the past.  That's just what it is...the past.  And the worm will turn, it always does.  The Rebs will be down and the Cats will be up soon enough.  Just kinda works like that. OK, I've spent way too much time on this nonsence, like Trophy said, next up is the WH Oilers.
 4.

Wow!!! Where is Catman?
I am here Evadale beat BS bad last night but not like the beating BS put on them like 3 years ago------87-11 ??? ???
I don't give a dang who thinks you're cool or knowledgeable or funny or if they like the smiley faces you leave after your posts or WHATEVER, but that was about as low class post you've ever made.  If you can't swallow your medicine this year then don't go back 3 years to find relief!!!
 5. If Baseball is a factor, can't wrong with Williams.  For selfish reasons, sure hope they go with someone other than Coach Will...
 6. Gotta give this one to the Big 3...Tucker, Dunnigan and Starks!!! As a whole, great team play tonight!
 7. Dont have the totals but the Bigs played very well!! Final 72-37 Rebs win!!!
 8. Rebs starting to sub....Murphy out with 8 points but several assists.  feeding the Bigs well.
 9. Rebs getting it done inside!  NO 3 pointers!  Big Tuck and Dunnigan having great defensive games.  Dunnigan over 10 blocks.  Cat D is really staying in Murphy's pocket keeping him quiet but that opens up other teammates.  64-31 with 3:43 left in the 3rd, Evadale on top.
 10.
It is easy to get on here and complain.......why not man up and ref a few games yourself and see how much more difficult it is than what it looks like from the stands.....but that would require you to actually do something..... Or better yet, lets make it a rule that all refs must sit in the stands because so much more can be seen from there....... PS: I am not a ref
dawg you make a good point. But I'm not a Ref because I know I'd blow it...often.  So, if I pay to watch a game that my kid or kids I've known their entire life I do expect the best effort possible from the Refs that are GETTING PAID.  Now I do understand that there will be mistakes, thats part of it and as a player you play through it, but it does seem that the last few years there has been a turn for the worse concerning officiating.  I have seen one Ref basically call the whole game from all over the floor and some Refs think they must blow the whistle to seem as if their doing their job...I dont have the answer but if you spend much time watching BB its obvious that the quality is going down.  If Ive got to man up and call a game before I can state an opinion than we must all serve as President before we voice our opinion concerning our country...I know, a bit of a stretch but just making a point...JMO
 11.

This was a great game. #23 blew the game tying freethrows with 6 seconds left.  Hard fought game an the sharks were up at the half. The sharks can play with anyone in district
Thats pretty hard on a kid ,to say that his Freethrows were what cost his team the game :( What about all the misted open layups or jump shots... And the sharks might be able to play with most of their dist. just not Evadale. Dont for get they beat you by 22 at your home.
we played with yall til the 4th quarter didn't we????
??? ??? ???
 12. Evadale's tough pre-district schedule didn't hurt em too much as they are sitting at 23rd.
 13. The more I chew on it, alum's point has some validity.  There are certainly times when all the big men on the court together would be ideal but maybe not against speed.
 14. Hustle!!!  It's all about hustle!  If the Rebs continue to come out flat and expect the District teams to be afraid of em, well, it may change as to who is 1st through 3rd when the dust settles!  When the Rebs go up against a team that they know will give em trouble, they get physical and leave it all on the floor.  IE playing Kountze within 5 (i think) and playing a tough 4A LCM pretty dang respectable, these guys can play when they feel they need too.  Someone better tell em that BS twice, WH twice and HD again is going to require all-hands-on-deck! No doubt in my mind that the Rebs can run the table, if they show up and play hard. On another subject, I think a well timed non-contested dunk is good for morale.  Heck, it sure got me up throwing my shoulder outta socket...LOL.  As long as we play within ourselves I say get after it!!  JMO
 15. Evadale was up by 18 late and the subs were running the court and jacking up 3s (and not making em).  No clock awareness at all.  This allowed HD to get some easy buckets. The Cats made a half-court shot as time elapsed to cut 3 more.  BUT, the game wasn't decided until midway through the 4th.  Rebs just looked dumbfounded by the aggressive play from HD.  HD showed up to play and for most of the game were picking up the loose balls and just out hustling the Rebs.  We need to get the ball to #21 down low as I see no one stopping him in the paint. The Rebs need to realize that they're going to have to suck it up and slug it out to win out the rest of their games.  Murphy was still weak form being out sick and never got in a groove as he sat more than usual.  Maybe this will help the Rebs realize that being cool will get your butt beat in the playoffs.  Turn your caps around and go to work guys!!!
 16.

I disagree. Even 2A and 3A teams don't mind an easy 'W' every once in a while. Evadale is an easy 'W'. Good teams play through injuries, they don't rely on just one player to be successful. It looks like that may be the case.
No one said that Evadale was relying on one person, just that the 2 big guys for them had to play the entire game with no rest. They just ran out of gas. They were domating the first half of the game and just got tired HF keep running in fresh legs and it worked. But thats what you get at a 1a school, just not as many players. But as far as Evadale being a easy W, just ask any of the 3 or 4a teams that they have played this year and see if they fell the same. They have played ever club withend 12 points and in most cases they were even at the half or ahead. They have only play one game this year were they got blew out, and that was against HJ. And looks like they are blowing out a lot of bigger clubs also. But comming from some that DontKnow@h1tt I would expect as much ;D
Dude, try spell check. Domating? They have played ever club withend 12 points? fell the same? They have only play one game this year were they got blew out? But comming from some that? This is would be funny if it weren't so sad. I take it you are an adult? I think you're just a wee bit delusional when it comes to your home team. But hey, to each his own. Good luck and I hope you get your ace player back in the near future. Looks like they'll need him.
"He who is without sin cast the first stone"...LOL
 17.

They ran the score up so much on Hemphill, it should be on the cover of the BMT Enterprise. The title should read "Kountze sure knows how to run that score up. Ask Hemphill"!
Burkeville had 3rd team in the whole 2nd half when they played Hemphill and still couldnt stop from scoring. Hemphill is just not a good ball club. Score was not like the Kountze game but it could have been.
Burkeville has a 3rd team?!  Wow, not bad for a DIV II 1A.
 18.
My opinion is my opinion. Its funny how you all try to change it. They ran up the score. Kountze should be ashamed of themselves. So I tell my 6-10 players to stall with 4 min left in the game. I guess its ok to embarrase the other school. Hope it happens to another local SETX so I can start another post. Maybe Central will play Evadale.
You're entitled to your opinion just like everyone else here, and that's fine with me.  I didn't have a dog in the hunt till you implied Evadale was a push-over.  And you're certainly entitled to your opinion that Evadale is weak but they have played up all year and are playing pretty competitive against some stout teams.  It was a ball game till the end the last time the Lions and Rebels met, so wipe your feet on someone that's more deserving. Just my opinion...
 19. If this were a football game I would say "yep, its a game of inches"!  But in this game is came down to factors, factors, factors.  The fact that Lynn was out for the Lions changed the make up of their game.  The fact that Starks was out for Evadale certainly made the Rebs make some changes as well.  And maybe, just maybe the fact that the Lions were off a little from the 3pt stripe had a little to do that Williams turned up the perimeter defense.  The fact that Evadale's Murphy went O-for from the 3 pt line may be due to the fact that the Lions moved up on him a little, and as some one said, him having to stay back to help bring the ball down may have him a little off balance and out of place to shoot the 3.  Both teams had plenty of factors to deal with to explain the outcome of this game...BUT as I said earlier, just a couple weeks ago this was a 100-70 game and I really believe that Williams has the Rebels headed in the right direction. I haven't looked  the schedule but I would love to see these two square off one more time. Good luck to the Lions with the rest of their schedule.  Believe in yourself and your new coach Rebs, I see some great things developing!
