Very possible. They're definitely not making it easy on themselves. The guy is a walking target. You get move-ins from across the country, go undefeated, then some players start showing their hind ends. Making enemies of the state lol.

In all reality, the kids will probably be ruled eligible again next week. This will go on next year when those 2 kids move in from California next year. Apparently the employment opportunities in Mount Vernon are just too good to pass up. But the Hawthorne situation is very odd, considering he's supposedly the uncle to the 2 kids that got ruled ineligible.

Carthage 50 Midlothian Heritage 49 Final
H3llR4z0r replied to VP93....'s topic in High School Football
I know this is old, but this was a great game. Carthage may or may not have crossed the line... but like someone else pointed out, Carthage was robbed of a scoop and score earlier in the game that resulted in zero points for Carthage. It was blatantly obvious as well, even before I replayed it 5 times. I honestly feel like MH had the better team, but Carthage undoubtedly was more prepared and had the upper hand as far as coaching staff. -

You can call it what you want to. 111 yards is still positive yardage, and due to their success, even in the slightest, it caused WO-S to over-pursue. 254 yards passing would arguably be PG's season high I would bet. So whether you want to call it "running on them" or "a successful running game," it was both. Any running game that causes the defense to commit a vast majority of their players to stop, opening up the passing game, is a successful running game.

83' Tigers were unbelievable. I'll be surprised if that's ever matched. Offenses averaged mere inches per play.

I called it before it ever happened. "Oh this can't beat us," "oh this can't beat us," "Oh no team can run on us." I've seen a lot of football, and I've never seen anyone quite run that offense the way PG ran it. It's actually a version of wing T, but they only ran 1 play the entire state championship game that was "traditional" wing T. There were many factors that played into it's success though. They could throw, run, and they had the hosses up front. They would lay the wood too. I'm NOT a PG fan by any means. There in the top 3 teams we loath, but I could tell early that they were special, and they only got better with each week. Seeing them 3-4 rounds deep in the playoffs, and they're still finding ways to be even better.

I remember someone claiming they weren't "talking about WOS" when they were gloating a few days ago, but here you are, gloating about WOS again. Amazzzaaazzzzing.
