Just because he hasn't played in 2 years you need to just take his word for it. There is something I don't get. How can a school that has all these great players that are "the best", never win squat? Not only not win but it's rarely even close against the top schools in district. This year is no different.

Toughest two teams in the same 2a district? Might possibly be but the toughest 2a district, no way. Too big a drop off after K'ville and Newton. Just look at the district scores.

A couple of things I know about Mart. They like to run it up when they smell blood and they have this really irritating train horn that could raise the dead. And I would leave the 'Stars and Bars' at home. They'll put 70 on you just to make a point.

Don't know how Anahuac's speed compares to those schools, they didn't play them. I do know they have good athletes at the skill positions as any 2A school in the area. They didn't lose to EC because they were to slow, they lost because EC controlled the ball on them. That said, I think the lack of depth and size at some positions could hurt them against K'ville.
