I would like to thank the fans and residents of Vidor for being very kind to the group of Panther players, coaches, and supporters that attended the Livingston @ Vidor game last friday. I believe steriotypes and stigmas were definately broken, and while all may not share that opinion, the people who greeted us with love and support were more than enough!! ;D :D ;D It was also very kind of you all to return the favor by supporting us with your attendance the following day against Lumberton. I feel that perhaps somewhat of a special bond has been forged from this and we will definately be pulling for you all during the playoffs. God bless yall and Go Pirates and Panthers!!!! P.S.- Thanks for the help getting in. I PROMISE we'll take FULL advantage of it!!!! ;)

I do believe we made a statement and that is that we are hungry for some post season meat!!!! 61-20 Panthers!!!! And btw at least 5 different Panthers scored today, just in case you thought we were a one trick pony!!! ;) Go Panthers!!!

Reading some of these posts discourages me. The whole race and steriotype mess is too much. Grow up guys. On another note.....I am VERY close with the Ozen FB team and the "lack of discipline" and "not as good coaching" comments couldn't be farther from the truth. Ozen is VERY well coached. Coach Nelson has and is doing an outstanding job of building character in these young men and of turning the program around. Unlike many of you, they are NOT taking ANY team lightly and their focus and goals are higher than ever. Keep watching these 2011 Panthers. A new thing's brewing in the Pear Orchard. BTW Vidor is much respected by the Panthers and there won't be a letdown because of complacency on Ozen's part. Look for a well played, hard hitting, disciplined football game saturday night. #Thatisall ;)

I'd have to agree! Ozen should be a playoff. And some of these "giants" in 20-4A will be suprised :o when they play them.

Ozen's the real deal.:o And they are young too. The qb is just a junior and could be the most athletic qb in the district. Can pass and scramble VERY well. Loaded with speed at skill positions. Only problem is backfield. Lacking that running threat to help set up passing game. They'll get that right though. This team is a darkhorse in the district. They are primed to get back to their tradition of success.

I would have to say that Ozen is definately talented enough to be a playoff team and i truly believe they will. They are getting better each week and thats wut you need to get there. They will shock :o some "Giants" in 20-4A this year. Central I do believe this is not your year! Washington reminds me of Clayton after he took over Coach Brook's Ozen playoff team. He rode Brook's team to the playoffs the first year. After the first year it was his turn to win and he couldnt do it. Same thing may be happening in Central's camp. Stowers set Washington up nicely. Now its his turn and they suck so far.  :'(

No matter how many times we see this its still a bit shocking. But PLEASE dont try and make this a Central\Ozen thing >:(. This crap happens with teams of many different racial makeups. And I've felt threatened playing at many of our friendly "PW" communities in this area and many others. Wrong is Wrong. Bottom line. She should be punished according to her actions and thats it.
