[/quote] Don't know.  I would at least think that they would be 2 stories but since it is easier to get info on our espionage program through the CIA than it's been to get info on the statdium I can't say.  If they don't start out being 2 story, hopefully they will build them with a foundation to expand to 2 story.  Like planning ahead would be a good idea.

I agree with the money spent wisely issue.  PNG has a very nice stadium that is more than adequate for Championship football.  That said, I am sure that Lamar has a architectural drawings that are similar that would give us better picture than what we have seen so far.

I watched Mayweather/Mosely 24-7 on HBO and after seeing that I hope Mosely destroys Mayweather.

I like where LU ranks on this list but it appears that Rice is conspicuously missing from this list and I don't see UH either.  Would like to know where Rice ranks.

How did this organization get artist renderings of the stadium and we can't get any on the Lamar Athletics site nor in any of our local papers?  There has to be a complete set out there that Lamar should be putting out for promotion purposes.  Geez!  On a side note, I snuck into the stadium after the scrimmage Saturday and it is going to be really nice.  I was told that there will be luxury boxes on the North endzone next to the Montagne.  I could see that it could be expanded easily by bowling the south endzone.  They could also just go up higher on the East and West sides and get significant seating capacity.

Was at the scrimmage.  Was very entertaining and makes me excited for the upcoming season.  Really hard to tell how they will be until they play some toher teams.

Does anyone have the final recruiting list for football this year?  If so post it here or post the link.  Seems like the last list I saw was about 18 or 20 players which seems like not very many.  Thought we would sign at least 25 or so.

Scott Poole of Lumberton ran a 50.41 400 meter at the Orangefield relays.

I saw that they finally put the roster up on the Lamar Athletic site.  Looks like we have good size on the line on both sides of the ball (hope they can play) but definately need to get bigger at linebacker, defensive back and wide receiver.  Also, who are the front runners at running back?  Don't have a whole lot of them on the roster.  Lets hope our new strength & conditioning coach can do wonders.

Can anyone provide the date and times for the boys district 20-4a track meet?

Now that he knows Hoopinsider Cooper is a UH alum that should keep him from wanting to coach there!

Good to see Scott Poole running for Lumberton.  The kid has serious wheels and with Kyler Keith could make for a strong 1600 meter relay team (with some support from a couple of other kids).

I hope he puts on about 45-50 pounds to play O-line.

Wow!  He has to have a very understanding family.  But it also makes me concerned that he is looking to the future of landing a head coaching job in the DFW area by parlaying his success here if his wife is unwilling to move to Beaumont.

I knew that Bob couldn't stay in hiding forever on the Roccoforte issue.  This is going to be a tough call for Tubbs.  I say wtih all the work to be done on getting football off the ground in its inaugural season, he gets another year to right the ship.  I just hope that LU can upgrade all the programs and really make a splash with foorball.  In reading this board over the last few years it is obvious we all have our own agendas and opinions about the programs and Lamar.  Hopefully, the products put on the playing fields/surfaces will make us all proud and give us something to rally around.
