Defensively, Aldine did not present much. For the Dogs, Smith (soph lefty, 2 IP, 1 BB, 1 H, 4 K, 1 R) Stewart (Jr righty, 1IP, 1R), Smith (sr lefty, 2IP, 0BB, 0R, 1K). Very proud Dad sitting in the stands 8) 8) 8) 8) did not stay for the second game.

pitchers need to throw strikes early, stay ahead of the count, avoid BB, no Nolan Ryans on this staff, .....defense will improve knowing a strike will be thrown every pitch. Hitting will improve. Still predict dogs to win district. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
