Next year,the nod goes to then Sr. White.  He's got a nice arm.  He's tall and athletic. After that, Smith, accurate passer, good hands with the ball, tall and strong as well. Both White and Smith strong arms on the mound in baseball as well, don't see them getting "looked over" on the gridiron.  I didn't see much in the interloper who transferred in, not quick at all, running the ball, not a strong passer, really doesn't perform to Ned's QB standard, kinda shaking my head???? (Guess we just have a crop of QBs if needed.)

late post from last Friday lcm @ Nederland Ned Sophs defeat lcm 13-0 in 4.5 innings Smith 3 1/3 inning with Chandler pitching last 1 2/3. Classy move by coach to allow Smith to take mound in 4th to get applaus for great year. Lefty allowed only 3 earned runs this year. lcm  0 0 0 0 0  0 1 5 n    2 8 3 0    13 7 0 offensively for big ned Broussard(w,1B,3B,2 RBI), Smith(1B, 2 RBI),  Allbritton(W,1B), Bennett(w,1B, 2 RBI), Martinez(2B, 2 RBI), Traxler 1B. Smith continued driving in runs. Finished the year with 23 RBI in 10 district games. JV Nederland defeats lcm 4-3 in bottom of 8th White and Ramoin pitching for Nederland. lcm  0 0 0 0 0 2 1 0  3 7 2 Ne  0 0 0 2 1 0 0 1  4 5 2 Great game by both teams. Congratulations for the great season by both teams. Both teams lost only one game (BC in Tourney) for the season.
