A Texas sweep at KSU is very possible and would put them at 6-0 in conference. Who would've figured that after their terrible start.

At this time of the year it's very common for players to travel from Varsity to JV during tournaments, but not from Varsity to Freshmen. Sounds like someone got some bad information. Rake1 [/quote] technically BC does not have a soph team. They do have two JV teams. It gets confusing because some players are playing on all their teams including varsity.

To give an exact number for TOO many is not accurate.... Many things need to be considered.  Any by-stander could say that is too much but anyone who knows pitching knows a number is not the measure.  Before stepping on the mound, a pitcher warms up.  Are you counting those pitches too?  Not everyone warms up with the same number of pitches before/during game. Then look at conditioning, training and overall physical strength/ability/agility.  Look at the care the athlete receives after pitching.  Those things are key.  A number is not the key.  Every pitcher is made different. Baseball is all about numbers.  This is just not one of them.

post up the scores here....still got a lot of tournaments this weekend and next Nederland Sophs and JV playing @ BC tournament this week

defeated Dayton last night in Nederland 10-0 Pitching was excellent again last night with Smith (3), Hauffpaur (1), and Chandler (1) combined for a one-hit shutout. Two of their four wins have been shutouts. Beware the Dogs 8) Next up Bridge City Tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday....
