After seeing the pre-season poll, can the aggs top off their poor performances in football and basketball with a baseball slide to match? They could set new records in, not just failing to meet pre-season expectations, but the vast degree of under-achievement.  :D good luck in the sec 8)

We have had a successful registration. We are looking at potentially expanding 14/15 yr old league from 6 to 8 teams. We still need to fill our 13 yr old league for 6 teams. NBR is holding registration for 13-15 yr olds at Babe Ruth field in Nederland (Park St) from 10-2 on both dates. January 28 February 4 NBR is taking players from Jefferson and Orange Counties. Stadium filled with noise makers....I probably would leave the air horns, freon cans, or propane tanks at home. Those can be safety issues.  Typically, when those announcements are made it involves airhorns. Otherwise-  filled gatorade/water plastic type bottles filled with whatever should be fine.  Cowbells, too.  I would dare them to take a cowbell from someone I know - she's had it for years.  She might use it against them.  Whatever, the other fan brought in last week was fine.  And it didn't sound small. No UIL rules against noisemakers.  The only restriction UIL has is not in gyms or athletic field houses. BE NEDERLAND LOUD!!!!! Go Bulldogs!!!!!!!!!

Defense will have to be beastly again. Dawson is good.....but not a monster. best hope for the offense is to get some short fields/TO's and find something early that works and stick to it.......and hold on to the ball. Offensive TO's will kill us in his game. Dawson is not Stafford.. ::)

Nederland Defense offense has been pedestrian at best
