We are starting back where we left off next week, Oct 4th. We will start at week 2 and play the entire schedule out as planned. There will be 3 rounds of playoffs taking off thanksgiving weekend, Superbowl will be played Dec 13th. ;D ;D ;D ;D

if you shorten the season to end on time, not all teams will be fairly treated because of the schedule, and it will affect the playoffs. :)

Opinions wanted on revised schedules: 1) play all games, just back season up 2) play fewer games and finish season on schedule I would rather change the dates only on the original schedule. I know we finish much later, but it is much more fair to everyone. I would like the games to start 10/4. What do ya'll think. Meeting is Thursday to discuss.

ou sucking is the only hope that Texas has for not floating off in the gulf. If that happened, we could declare indepence again and become a very large island nation...maybe even our own continent. Probably helps some with beach erosion also.

IMO The TE is the only player that can keep the safety's from becoming LB's. Without the threat of a TE to keep them honest in the middle. no hope to run. TOO many men in the box to block. :)

STJFL has rules concerning the amount of practice that can be done. See below "14. You may not begin practice prior to Monday the week of August 1st of the football season. Every participant must complete 8 hours of conditioning practice with no contact between players until the 8 hours has been met. The first 8 hours will consist of 4 2 hour days. There shall be no more that 10 hours of practice per week prior to the first game of the season. The first game of the season will be played on the first Saturday after 28 days of practice. After the first game a team will only be allowed to practice 6 hours or less per week." The kids are taken care of.

Come watch the baby bulldogs and baby indians play their version of Mid County Madness. This is the second year. Last year it was hosted by PNG at the Reservation. Games are Saturday, 11/17 at Bulldog Stadium. Nederland Allstars will play PNG Allstars. Game Times: Flag 9am, Pee-wee 10am, Jr 11:30am, & Sr 1:30pm There is a $2 admission fee to pay for use of stadium and the officials.

All lumberton merchants sold out of tissues, aspirin, tylenol, advil, and nyquil. Strange run on products spread to neighboring communities of Silsbee and Kountz. Had to use nyquil to get some sleep since they can't get real alcohol. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

certainly not to dis DJ, but I'm not sure what he'll end up playing. To me, he is a tweener. Maybe not fast enough for linebacker, maybe not big enough for DE. Certainly glad for UT. Hope DJ becomes a star. We need defensive help and fast at UT.
