  1. I knew this game was over as soon as QB1 went down. Defense was never going to hold up the whole game. My thing is, you ran the wild cat right out of the gate 2nd half, and you scored a touchdown to tie it up pretty quick. Then you don't go back to it at all?
  2. Sucks losing QB1 so early in the game, Titans were driving until he went out. I'm not sure if our offense will keep up now.
  3. Welp, so much for our district going 2-2 in the playoffs. We'll be lucky to not get swept 1st round smh....
  4. One of the reasons PAM lost to Longview was actually because of Wilson's legs. If I remember clearly, Longview punted 4 straight times but memorial shot themselves in the foot. First four drives for memorial from what I remember were: PAM TD, Wilson fumble, Wilson fumble, Wilson fumble. He was definitely a dual threat but he had a run first mentality. Once Longview figured that out, our offense went stagnant and our defense eventually got tired. I'd much rather it be the other way around and have Stover let plays develop and pass the rock to his playmakers and run only when needed. I get that PAM normally has a QB that can take it to the house with his legs but that hasn't always worked out for us come playoff time. Like the year we lost to Fort Bend Hightower in the first round, our QB was smaller but lightning fast, he ended up getting hurt during a run in the 4th quarter and didn't come back in the rest of the game. I like this PAM team, they'll get better as the season goes.
  5. Crazy to think, just a couple years ago, PNG and defense didn't belong in the same sentence lol. They've certainly come a long way for sure.
  6. I was going off the numbers you provided, so I quoted you saying he went 16 for 26 against Nederland which is less accurate than the PNG game. If he was really 16 for 22 then it's still slightly less accurate than 22 for 30.
  7. Kind of funny how perception works. I thought he was way more accurate against Nederland yet his numbers were better against PNG. The play calls were mostly bubble screens and short passes the first game but the incomplete passes were way off and at his receivers feet. The pass plays against Nederland were mainly medium to long passes and I thought he was right on the money yet he had more incomplete passes even though he threw less. O line has been holding up well but I'm worried how he'll react to a team with a stout D line. He seems to have some wheels on him as well, I noticed that after he picked up the fumbled snap against Nederland and ran it in for the touchdown. Either way, there's still room for improvement and he'll get better as the season goes no doubt.
  8. Crazy to think if you give the ball to your play makers, they'll score?
  9. Absolutely terrible play calling by PAM, I haven't seen vanilla play calling like this since 2016. The QB is playing scared and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Heard from many people around the area that he was accurate, from what I've seen, that isn't even close to the truth. That touchdown they gave up was from a terribly underthrown ball yet neither DB could make a play on it.
  10. Yeah, I finally saw a good video that showed the whole incident. After the parent goes back to the bench is when this situation should've ended but it appears that one of the coaches continues the altercation and the dad comes back down. It still could've been avoided though but the husband rushing in like a bull seeing red was the final nail in the coffin. The guys earlier said he poked the coaches in the face but video evidence clearly shows that wasn't the case. He points his finger twice and the 2nd time he does it is right after the coach herself did it to him. Still not defending his actions but it isn't as one sided as it has been made out to be. I think the coaches husband should be banned as well, I get the whole defending your spouse thing but doing so the way he did escalated things to the point it endangered innocent bystanders.
  11. Hey I get it, but I've known this guy for a very long time and he's a cool cat for sure which makes me baffled at this situation. You only know him based off this incident. I'll come up with my own verdict in due time but seems like there's a culture problem that might extend past this issue. We have our own issues in PA but PNG isn't as squeaky clean as they make things out to be. Kind of interesting if it's true that so many players are quitting right before the biggest game of the season.
