I agree with that but you can make sure they show up on time , act right in class and be a respectful young person . That’s not hard to manager . You also can’t be scared to do what’s right because what’s right is right . Hold them accountable by running them or their teammates when they don’t do what they are supposed to do . You have to have some sort of accountability or these kids will run all over you . My son can be coached anyway a coach feels he needs to be coached .

Losing that coach isn’t a big deal . I wasn’t impressed that’s my opinion . I am an old school guy that thinks a program needs discipline and kids need to be held accountable we didn’t have that . So that’s my opinion . I also didn’t say coaches don’t have something to do with winning I’m way smarter than that. Good luck to the raiders.

Losing the coach is not a big deal . He stepped into arguably the best group of kids we have ever had so …see ya (wasn’t impressed ) . Also knew he was leaving and scheduled 3 really tough games to open up with . We are young and going to have some struggles but they will be ok when district starts . Have to stay healthy the 1st 3 weeks . Chase will bring a different intensity that we haven’t had for 3 years and he will do a good job . Good luck to the Raiders

I have dealt with the same things with my son and I told him we have to just put our heads down and go to work . Told him we have to work harder than everyone else !

Well they have threatened to move the last 2 years because they thought he should be the guy at QB for that group and hasn’t worked out that way ! Stop threatening to leave and go earn the job or move period ! Stop griping and complaining and put in the work end of story .

As a coach you do what you have to do to win games . If a coach thinks he has a plan to slow down a high powered offense and a very athletic team then you do what you have to do . I watched Lumberton in the 80s run 4 corners against Lincoln when I was in high school . Lincoln had 2 big time division 1 players that went to Texas and Oklahoma . Lumberton lost like 26-18 and it was the only way they could compete so it is what it is . Congrats to silsbee and let’s move in .
