  2. Good find there Smith.
  3. Definitely a cup-cake team but the team played hard. Go win, now looking to Ole Miss.

  5. Thought Moton verbally committed?
  6. Sounds like a real winner there. I bet BT let him resign instead of firing him.........
  7. She was on campus today. Don't let your tongue hit the ground when you guys finally see her. I think Tidwell only recruits beautiful ladies!
  8. Now add a concrete verbal commitment from a 6-1 PG who is ranked in the Top 10 in Europe.
  9. I'll ask one, who has the most SLC men's basketball conference championships?
  10. We'll be there supporting the men and women's teams.
  11. I really expect us to be in the hunt at the end of the season for the SLC regular season and conference tournament titles.
  12. Guy Morriss at Baylor is probably going to get axed at the end of the season but he was very good at Kentucky.
  13. I am a student at Lamar. I live near the campus and I've heard a lot of talk about football returning to the school. My brother who is a freshman and I will support this issue anyway we can. Talking to others, being more involved with the SGA and definitely voting for football to return. I'll probably get my masters at Lamar so I'll still be around campus and will attend as many games as possible. You will see the campus grow with new students after this thing passes!
  14. Yep, just made it back. Got the ladies with us. I just wanted to help you out there old man.;D Gotta run, don't want to keep them waiting. 8)
  15. The answer to the prior question is also a former UH Head Coach. Coach Pat Foster and the conference was the SLC. Thanks for the hint per PM above.
  16. Matt Sundblad
  17. This sounds like a young man with his head on straight.
  18. Is it James Gulley?
  19. The girlfriend and myself will be there getting to know some of the coaches, players, and supporters of our great university! Go Cardinals!!
  20. Abovetherim, I hear there will be a Carnival starting around 5:00 the day of this event. I haven't seen any posters around campus but I'm sure they will have them up next week. Good news and this sounds like a blast. I'll be bringing my girlfriend and she is even excited about the event. As soon as she heard about it she stated, "I want to go!".
  21. Looks like our coaching staff has a pipe line into Angelina College. Hope this is a true commitment with him being a local player and all.
  22. I would think a school the size of Lamar would be happy with the recognition just being in the Top 100 in any sport. I'm not a big baseball guy but with all the colleges and universities in the country I think it's a pretty good ranking. Probably not good if you are talking about LSU, UT, or one of the big-time athletic programs. How many schools in our conference were ranked ahead of us?
  23. I ran cross country in high school but these guys are incredible. I'm not sure the average Joe knows how good Lamar is in cross country. UNLV that is awesome you found this information. Being a junior at Lamar, I've met some of the past and current guys on the team and they are not just good athletes but good people too. With all the negatives shown in the newspapers and TV regarding athletes its refreshing to see good guys doing well.
