That's not what I understand. He did like Baytown Lee, and heard that he had a great mentor there. It's just his heart is at WOS. His reason for leaving WOS had nothing to do with not being happy at WOS. There were a lot of traumatic things that happened in his personal life where he felt he had to have a change of scenery for awhile. Anyone who knows Toby knows what he went through in the month or so before he left and no one can blame him for needing a break from Orange. He has had nothing but high praises regarding Coach Joseph at Baytown.

Uh, Jdog....I don't think I'd actually call L'view "weak"!!!! -
Robotic Officials...what u think?

Just before a WOS game, they'd program them to throw flags, or shoot laser beams, at any WOS gain or when the "D" makes a good play. They would still be biased against WOS. LOL -

He'd rather play Longview than WOS? Hmmm. -
I, too, think the coaches at WOS are great. However, when one leaves and a former, true Mustang wants to come back.....let's get him here.

As an outsider looking in and reading these post, Foreman must be a heck of a coach b/c fans are basically blasting every coach on the football staff except for Coach T and Coach Foreman, I mean honestly (you wish you could have as many ex- muxtangs on the staff as possible" Christ I guess if you are not from Orange dont even bother feeling out and application b/c they dont want you coaching there and will blast you even when your team beats the #1 ranked 3A school in Texas. Im kind of a sports buff and I just looked up some stats, I might be wrong but it looks as if this years mustangs had a bigger challenge to face than the 05' and 06' teams. It also looks like the 07' team did score more points and had a higher percentage than the 05' team that won. Maybe the OC isnt as bad as every is trying to make it. WOS should be happy that Foreman is coming back but dont make it seem like the current coaches arent capable. Im glad Im in BMT b/c it's ruthless in orange, but hey maybe thats why you guys win so much, I tell you what since Foreman is back ask Coach Hooks to send a couple of those coaches to OZEN so we can get it right. Ozen: I understand your confusion because you are NOT from WOS. Until you have a personal and intimate part of the Mustang program (in whatever capacity....even as a fan) you truly can't understand what makes the program a success. It is not a requirement that a coach graduated from WOS, but it is an asset if a coach has actually gone through the program and knows what it takes to succeed. I do not condone those who criticize coaches at any school, but everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. Coaching is a hard job.....you are trying to teach kids about more than football, while getting knocked by fans, school boards, referee's....A coach has his job viewed through a microscope, every mistake magnified. Toby is young, energetic, and has a connection with the kids that is so needed these days. His knowledge and influence will be a positive charge for the Mustangs. Welcome back.

One would think DC would have learned when they predicted before the season started that WOS would not win the district. Maybe so many people complained in defense of WOS to DC after the magazine came out and they've decided to overlook WOS altogether, even when stats are posted right in front of their eyes. LOL. Who knows? -
Trace Adkins - "Swing" and I love hearing "Gone" after a home run. Enjoyed hearing the songs that LCM has for each of their players.

I don't know where you got your info, but I'm pretty sure Dan has NOT been "trying to run the baseball program". That statement is just trying to start something.

Texas Football/State Farm Season-End Class 3A Top 10 Rankings Rank School Preseason Season Result 1 Liberty Hill (14-0) 5 DI Champs 2 Celina (16-0) 6 DII Champs 3 China Spring (14-2) NR DII Finalists 4 Gilmer (14-1) 7 DI Finalists 5 Abilene Wylie (11-3) 24 DI Semifinalists 6 Waco La Vega (13-1) NR DII Quarterfinalists 7 Snyder (12-3) 3 DII Semifinalists 8 Dallas Roosevelt (11-2) NR DI Semifinalists 9 Cuero (12-3) 22 DII Semifinalists 10 Giddings (11-1) 1 Area Finalists Funny, I thought WOS beat Giddings and ended the season at 12-1, yet Giddings makes the top 10 and WOS doesn't. WOS has #1 ranked defense in 3A and doesn't make it....HMMMMMM -
Then I guess I'm thinking about college....I guess I just need to be quiet, huh? LOL

give me your opinion on all those questions you just posed My opinion is that they are rules of the game, regardless of anyone's "opinion". When I posted my message, I had read another post regarding someone who was intentionally walked in a game and a parent or fan of the guy who was walked was upset about it. Then along comes this question....The good thing about intentional walks in high school is that the batter still gets pitches and no matter what anyone thinks, it is not easy to throw a ball out of the batter's reach 4 times in a row and not have a wild pitch or passed ball. I have seen wild pitches on an intentional walk that moves a runner up. Didn't mean to offend anyone by my sarcastic post previously, just thought it strange that someone complained on an earlier post about an intentional walk and then here's this question.

Congrats to Coach Bryant. Great job for short years!
-
I'm surprised at that question. How about pinch hitters or pinch runners? How about the infield fly rule? How about leting everyone on the team play and hit regardless of ability? Gimme a break!
-
Book is also a noun and can be read! (Or is it "red"?) LOL....I laugh as well at some of the spelling and grammar on here. No wonder texting is so popular. You don't have to spell well to be understood!
-
Who do you predict the loss to be?
-
That was a game that I looked forward to on WOS schedule. Guess they were tired of getting beat by a 3A school. ;D I think I heard that Bay City's coach (that was only there for one year) left and the new coach didn't want to play WOS.

WOS is scrimmaging Dayton and Vidor. -
I read through the alignments in 4A and was surprised that some teams in Ft. Worth/Dallas have 10 teams. I guess Livingston traveling to the Golden Triangle is probably better than going to Brenham and Waller.
-
One would have thought that they could have taken a couple of teams from another district, then make a new district, giving 19 & 20 4A fewer teams.
-
Was wondering exactly what the realignment numbers were? Very curious to see if Highland Park stayed 4A or finally moved up!!!
-
I bet we meet somewhere close to their school!!! LOL! It may very well be Deer Park. I hear Coach Hooks has been wanting to play there.
-
Other side of Houston. They tried to get SEaly, Tatum, Giddings, Bay City, and a couple of others. Tatum is the one that said Hell, No!!! LOL
