I pick Coldsprings because theirs is the last game to be played (it's on Saturday). They'll last one more day than the others.

tam: I was wrong. I checked. Eric moved up in the middle of the season of his freshman year. I apologize. I didn't remember that. However, kicker, Mack Toler did not play varsity as a freshman.

The Mustangs may be playing in Dayton on Saturday night vs. 22-3A contender.

I originally questioned the WOS vs. Coldsprings matchup but then remembered that Cleveland may win the district. They are not the big school, so no matter where the big school finishes, THAT's the bracket they go into. Then they match the remaining teams up by finish in each district. What's terrible about that district is their records....it's a shame that somebody really worthy of going to the playoffs in OUR district is having to sit home while D-22 advances.

Can you find the numbers across the state for defense? I tried to find them on other boards but no luck.

Not to mention that we can flip for home and home in the playoffs. Most teams want to play on turf, so even if we were to "lose" the flip, the other team will have a field reserved with turf. Furthermore, we can rent out the stadium to other schools for playoff games. You all are so right. It should have been more publicized.

Why would BC move to Dist 22-3A when they are 5 miles from WOS? And BC turned in more students that WOS this year for Feb's alignment. I don't agree with the UIL trying to "fix" districts so that some schools can make the playoffs. It is NOT right.

I don't remember Eric being on Varsity football as a freshman. He played varisty baseball as a freshman but not football. (From the best of my recollection---I'd have to go back and check, but I'm pretty sure he was not on varsity football as a freshman. Steen, however, WAS! You are right about that one!)

When did this happen? We don't have a flag small enough to "drive" into the ground! I'd like to know the date of this "incident" though.

Where were the confounded counselors during schedule assignments? The kid nor the team is at fault and it's really, really sad that the whole team has to suffer. BTW, wonder what made them finally wake up and realize that something was wrong? It just aggravates me that the team and the kid may have to pay when there were more involved in the oversight. Just my take on it.

Has the "coach hits QB" been shown, too? That coach really did square up and shoulder that QB, didn't he? I wonder if he got penalized?

Bottom line is...all of these kids LIVE in the WOS district.

I think it's a "friend" type situation. It happened, though. If you don't have a friend on the staff, who ya gonna call?

Look, I'm not saying anything derogatory against your coach....I haven't called him names, etc. I am just mentioning information that has come to me from an extremely reliable source. Coaches swap films all the time. That's no secret.
