Let none of us forget the Duke LaCrosse situation. 4 young men's lives changed and college playing time were completely destroyed by false accusations and a crooked DA. How do you take back the infractions lodged against them and the entire team for that matter? Their coach quit, the season was cancelled. Come to think of it, not just those 4 but the entire season for the rest of the team. Each situation has to be examined. Never say never......

Whatever, Maverick. You will find an argument to everything everyone says, so what difference does it make. You know what? WOS is so far undefeated in the entire district for 3 1/2 years. We may as well go ahead and be cocky and say we DO own every field in this district since we've beaten everybody. Does that make you happier? Or does it just make you feel good to keep arguing this point? Spitting in someone's face is disrespect...spiking the ball on someone's logo (as someone else said) is disrespect....URINATING on someone's log is disrespect. We have all said that WE don't consider it disrespectful and you still want to condemn us and argue our opinion. YOU are the one bashing.....Lay off it, will you? Get over it. And who jumped on your logo that pissed you off so bad?

Some of you are making a mountain out of a molehill. For crying out loud, URINATING on mid-field is disrespectful. Running out to the middle and piling a sack on one another is NOT! I have enough things to worry about than whether or not someone walked on my logo. Whew.....

I personally, was shocked that WOS' stands weren't packed. I must have missed something going on in Orange Friday night 'cause I was at the game. The stands were only half full.

That's not very nice. What's wrong with their cheerleaders? And what do they have to do with blocking and tackling?

I don't know how many we will score, but I am hoping for a shutout. I do think OF will play hard, but the 'Stangs will be too much to handle.

Even though OF isn't "up there" in the standings, I hear they play the entire game, so I don't think it's going to be a cake walk. OF has played hard the last couple of years that we have played them, IMO. They are just tough kids over there. We need to play hard and smart all night.

If you are going to bring that up, then bring up who we were missing on the defensive side of the ball. The defense wasn't the same then and you know it. But, if you want to continue to bring that up to make yourself feel better, that's okay, we'll let ya. Just know that deep down inside, YOU know why Ned beat WOS. You know but you just don't want to say it out loud 'cause it hurts. We understand. We know at WOS....the situation has been corrected and hey....there's always February...realignment....new teams to play. Ned vs WOS may be a reality and then we can get down to the brass tacks and put up or shut up.

I personally think Jasper had more speed and is an all-around better team than Silsbee. Silsbee had some big kids, but not the speed that Jasper has. Just my opinion.

I didn't mean to agree to the post just before this one, I was agreeing to the one before THAT. But to answer 2000's post, I don't necessarily think that we should throw more on first down. What we are doing now is working. Every now and then, just as we did last night, we can TRY, if the opportunity is right, but don't bash the OC or play calling if the pass is not completed.

I agree. Bashing the play calling gets old after awhile, especially when you're winning. (And by as much as we won last nigh). If Giddings beats us, then they are the better team, plain and simple. I just think that they will have their hands full because our defense (though still young) is better this year than last. We just expect so much.
