td! I felt that same way after Rita hit. The community got together and cleaned up the mess instead of waiting like the throes in NOLA....but then, most of that group expects someone else to come clean up the mess. That, of course, is another story, I guess. Good post anyway!

I, too, am very proud of the LCM community and the players for wanting to play this game as much as the WOS fans. Kudos to you for making it happen!!!! Now you, Sneaky snake...you are another matter because you kept calling all of us blood thirsty buffoons for wanting the game to be played. You should only be allowed to wait for the tailgate party on KFDM!!!! LOL....just kidding!!!!

Congrats to Kelly's Quinn on a tremendous game. Keep up the good work and you will be rewarded!!!! I think I'll stick with WOS' Quinny for this week, though.

I agree, guru! Just don't see how one person can make the decision for the entire community....as someone mentioned earlier, money has ALREADY been spent on tickets, on programs, on concessions, on shirts especially made for the game.....Who is going to give those organizations their money back because they lost their chance to recoup their funds because one person made the decision to cancel the game? He can say what he wants about there being "more to football than ticket sales and concessions." Money has been spent that will never be recouped.....Perhaps they should send the bill to the LCM Athletic department. This doesn't include the money that both schools would garner from gate attendance. Had we had real damage in the community, I could certainly understand his position and feel that Coach Hooks certainly would have agreed with it.

LOL!!!! On the other hand, there are some people who only came back BECAUSE of this game!!!! They didn't find out til they got home!!!!

I hope they don't expect WOS to go to their stadium NEXT year! They need to come to WOS to make up for this year.
