  1. I was basically using his greatness as an example of what could have the HF QB move. That's why the 99.9999% chance was noted.
  2. As with anything, it will depend on the situation. Like who Nederland hires. For instance: Say the 99.9999% unlikely chance Nederland would be able to hire Scott Surratt, what decision do you think HF's QB would make? A no-brainer to me. So, let's wait and see.
  3. From the article: "The filing claims Nathan Wade, the special prosecutor hired to go after Trump, paid for luxury vacations he took with Fani Willis to Napa Valley and a cruise in the Caribbean – and used money from Fulton County to pay for their out-of-town escapades. “County records show that Wade, who has played a prominent role in the election interference case, has been paid nearly $654,000 in legal fees since January 2022. The DA authorizes his compensation.” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. The motion claims “sources close to both the special prosecutor and the district attorney have confirmed they had an ongoing, personal relationship.” The filing asserts Fani Willis never got Wade’s appointment to special prosecutor approved by the Fulton Board of Commissioners, which is required by law. Marjorie Taylor Greene called Fani Willis’ relationship with Nathan Wade an “illegal conflict of interest.”" [Hidden Content]
  4. Briles and Saban, I like where this is going! 🏈😁
  5. In December of 2022, a Boeing 777 operated by United Airlines took off from Hawaii in heavy rain. About a minute into the flight, the aircraft plummeted towards the ocean. It came just 750 feet from hitting the water at high-speed, which almost certainly would have killed all 280 people on board. In the end, the pilots saved the aircraft by a matter of seconds. For more than two months, no one heard about this incident. It was as if it had never happened. From the article: "The first thing to note is that the pilots were pretty experienced, with the captain being a lot more experienced than the first officer on this aircraft. The captain had a total of 19,600 flight hours (including 5,000 hours on the 777), while the first officer had 5,300 flight hours (including 120 hours on the 777). So around 25,000 hours of experience in the cockpit is quite a bit, though the first officer was basically brand new on the 777. The cause of the incident was determined to be a miscommunication between the two pilots over the flap settings. The captain asked for flaps to be set to five degrees, though the first officer thought he said 15 degrees. On top of that, the NTSB blames the pilots’ failure to manage the aircraft following a miscommunication." If I'm not mistaken United at one time said they were going to go full steam ahead towards quotas. Now, was this first officer a quota? Not sure at this point. If known, how many would want a quota flying your airplane or operating on your brain?! [Hidden Content]
  6. Well, this mother was right! This individual was approached about the job and turned it down. Which in the grand scheme of things I figured he would. But, it would have been a nice hire!
  7. How many State Title appearances does your guy have? How many State Titles does your guy have?
  8. Large groups of migrants , mostly Chinese national men crossing illegally through open gaps on the border wall in Jacumba Hot Springs , CA. [Hidden Content]
  9. Administration, pay attention: The number one thing we need to remember -- No more "Home Cooking." Now, everyone knows how sensitive I am (Grin), If anyone can show me an ex Nederland person that as a head coach has won at least two State Titles in a classification 3A and up, then we'll talk.
  10. Any latest on when Nederland will start receiving applications? @navydawg31 @KF89
  11. Anyone know when are they going to start receiving applications?
  12. New coach at least needs to bring in new OC and new DC. But also needs to find the best O-line coach possible and bring him in.
  13. I don't think many would say that he wasn't. It was purely a coaching situation!
  14. I think his original options were: To retire or be reassigned within the district. So, retiring sounds right.
  15. Did not know this! Thanks for posting!
  16. The promising career of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has taken a beating since he decided to run against President Donald Trump for the Republican nomination. Now, credible rumors are being reported by corporate media sources (which is an oxymoronic statement, I know) that DeSantis is preparing to drop out after losing the Iowa caucuses a week from Monday. If true, it would be the first step toward salvaging his future prospects for a possible 2028 run. [Hidden Content]
