  1. Wishing everyone here a very Merry Christmas!
  2. Claude Mathis - 6A Jeff Joseph - 5A Alan Metzel - 4A Jake Fieszel - 3A I have no thoughts below 3A @Dirty_but_Dazzling
  3. Thanks for breaking this down. It's actually worst than I thought. I say at any one time, there's less than 10% Elite coaches. Didn't realize how much less. With my category of Elite coaches, there is right now only 1.5% active coaches that are Elite. When you add those with only one Title that comes up to 3.6%. Like I've said, if it was easy then every coach would have about 10. If it's talent only then this percentage should be dramatically increased. One would think anyway! Contrary to what some here think, a coach has to have the "it" factor to eventually become Elite!
  4. Let's go with this: 1,500 high schools with 49 active coaches that have won one. That's 3.2%. Well under the 10% I usually state. But I also say it's under 10%. But let me reiterate: When I say Championship coaches I mean Elite coaches. Those that have won at least 2. @WOSdrummer99
  5. Any thoughts on how we can go about getting a copy of the State game?
  6. HA! Again, MOST Championship coaches can do it in 4 years. I know that seems strange because there isn't a lot of Championship coaches around at any one time. But, if people don't care, it doesn't really matter.
  7. Let me first remind that the Elite Status category is mine. In everything I've done my standards are a little higher than most. Everyone here may have what constitutes Elite Status. I'm sure there are some here that think a coach with a losing record is some-how Elite. Maybe because he's a nice guy? But, again, that's their prerogative. So, the tenants in my Elite category are as follows: Doug Ethridge, Tim Buchanan, Steve Suratt, Gordon Wood, Art Briles, Steve Wood, ETC. Regarding Neuman, based on how bad Nederland was, and is, Neuman did an exceptional job -- per Nederland's standards! But, did he achieve the same level of success that above mentioned coaches did? Absolutely not. Based on this backdrop, it drops him down to just a great coach. But, on the other hand, did I think that Neuman had the ability to achieve this status. Yes, I do think he did. But the reason that he did not, my opinion, was that he had a blind spot that he wouldn't correct. But, maybe he didn't think that needed correcting. 19 years and never made it to the big dance. We can all make excuses why this never happened. Maybe he just didn't have the "it" factor. Or, maybe if he had just played lesser competition in the playoffs?! Who knows?! Well, I think I know. But, again, my opinion!
  8. The Last Time Democrats Took a GOP Candidate Off the Ballot Was in 1860 – They Would Not Allow Abraham Lincoln’s Name on the Ballot in Their Slave States! The Democrats haven't been this upset since Republicans ended slavery! [Hidden Content] @Big girl @UT alum
  9. Come on, let's get real: Nobody complained about the officiating crew before the game. WHY?! Because SOC thought they were not going to lose the game!!
  10. On the table: In Texas, possibly remove JoeBama from the ballot for leading and engineering the insurrection on the border — a crime against the Constitution of such magnitude it defies comparison. I always say -- be careful what you wish for! It'll never get to that because Trump made a good, conservative Supreme Court! What's ironic about this, is hat Harry Reid (D) change the filibuster rule that allowed the Republicans to block the commie Marret Garland from getting on the Supreme Court. Once Trump won, he was able to shape the Court. The Dems always screw things up for themselves. Which, BTW -- is good for America.
  11. OK, makes sense. But if Nederland went big school then that means they should be able to compete with the other big schools in that classification. Right?
  12. Ok, I know this is your opinion but I have a question: Big school, small school? Since they were playing each other, doesn't this mean that the schools enrollments are basically the same? Seems like to me the UIL put them in a comparable classification.
  13. I thought the O line coach was leaving? Was he the one that called the plays? Or, are they losing the OC also?
  14. Trump is now 'MORE likely to beat Biden' after Colorado ruling: Top pollster says controversial state Supreme Court decision will lead to a huge surge. Pollsters and political strategists say Trump is more likely to win in 2024 after Colorado ruled to keep the ex-president off the primary ballot. Every time Trump has [h]ad an adverse engagement with the legal system, it has been like rocket fuel! [Hidden Content]
  15. If the highest court determines the Department of Justice and judges misapplied a corporate fraud statute against hundreds of January 6 defendants, the repercussions will be felt for years to come. [Hidden Content]
  16. Uncle of Colorado justice who barred Trump teamed with Soros (AKA the Snake) to send U.S. rare earth tech to China! [Hidden Content]
