Well they did thank him for getting it going in the right direction and making the kids stronger and faster with the Pittsburgh Steelers with workout regiment wos has been using since 78 -
If u believe that then u dont know anything about sports u can't stick anybody over and the out come would be the same. To me that's a slap to wt and the rest of the hardworking newton in the face. I've seen it first hand I program that had won several championships. The main peace of the coaching staff left and they still had the same calibur of players. 4 years straight didn't sniff the playoffs. Once they begged him to come back went back to the playoffs and won more titles with less talent before he left. He turned them in to hardworking coachable dicslpine football players. But I'm sure like you say Mickey mouse could have done that.

Talented athletes don't make great programs. Hard working discipline coachable good football players do. I give u 500 great athletes. Just give me 22 coachable hardworking good football players and I will beat u everytime. Tell 50 coaches what I just said and all 50 will agree with me.

I'm in bad shape wos hasn't played 4 quarters of mustang football and neither has Oakland but I refuse to give up on either. Hopefully both of them will get they act together a stay in front of the chains this week. I know this is a high football site but the pain is the same.

Well, its been a tough non district. Expected loss to St. Pius, a huge letdown against Nederland, but battled well against PA Memorial. They learned some things that game. Offense needs to get in gear... Bye week is at the right time. Next game is Baytown Sterling. Perfect time to get your first win...still can beat the teams you're supposed to beat and make the playoffs....

If they don't come out and play 4 quarters of mustang football then they be will 1-3 or 1-9 for that matter . I don't want them to just get by I want them to show the they can win in all three phases.

Yeah.It's sad.You know they have players over there and should at least be competitive.My son played for LCM back in the 80's under Williams.I had to support him back then but he knew I was a WOS fan.Matter of fact he went to all the Stangs game with me until he started playing for LCM.Â

U can not tell me lcm doesn't football players over there, seems to me the hc is just collecting a pay check. How much longer will they put up with that?

And I do keep in touch with coach t when I'm outta town working. Him, his wife and their church prayed for me when I was going back and forth to md Anderson. I told him that just about everybody on this talk about wos then their own school

So if wos had won the game then netwon is still loaded with the same d1 players but the lost the game what would you be saying. I'll tell u what you would be saying the wos made the plays and netwon didn't. That what it always comes down to every on every level and I already said netwon was the better and wos had their chances to win the game. But believe whatever u like the bottom line is gotta play better on all phases young or not. And wos has won 3 of 4 titles with freshmens sophomores and juniors starting and we have lost titles with more seniors on the team.

No I've said Nederland and netwon were the better that that night and made more plays the we did. My point is we didn't lose because we r young or whatever people say for copouts, we lost because we just didn't get it done and they did

That's what I'm talking about well said. but I didn't wanna point out the players like that. I really thought at some point they would stop biting on the play action so hard but it never happened and finally it caught up with us.

U have a point they were more physical to. It was to many blown assignments and they made us pay. Thats what I meant about last year it was busted assignments almost every game but since they were winning nobody said too much about it and the secondary is better than it was last year.

Finally someone else with a brain. And what's funny is nobody talks about the 398 games wos has won r the 112 shutouts, just the 95 losses. The lcm coach back from 94 was talking to me at the car wash about a week ago about the 37 to 6 win they had over wos. I said what about the other 30 something times they played that wos won? For some reason he said he cant recall those. Wos has nothing to prove to anyone. When I die they will bury me at the end of the endzone hopefully 40 years from now and wos will still be the best thing in southeast texas.

Fairfield Marriott chief they don't matter but I'm not going sit here and let people talk about wos like it's back to the drawing board because it's not. Like I said if they wasn't in the games they lost I could see everyone's point that think that they have declined some seems to me Nederland and netwon made more plays they did and that's games cut have went wos way just a easy but it didn't and wasn't because they were out manned it was because they didn't get it done plain and simple.they stumble out the gate last year with blown assignments miss tackles etc but like I said nobody noticed because they won the games instead of losing them.

So u think just because they lost 2 winnable games it's not they year hmmm. Ok u do know u only need to go 6 and 0 not 16 and 0. If wos doesn't it won't because they were too young. It will because on that day other team was better.
