after attending tx a & m & lsu, anthony missed his invite with baylor last week, but will be traveling to lubbock this weekend to visit those red raiders . coaches there have showed & voiced their interest in anthony at the linebacker position. with smu offering a few weeks back , wich anthony is defintaly interested & talked to their coaches &said he would be visiting them soon, the red raiders is one of his favorites. ucla,oklahoma st, baylor, tx a & m, also have sent new interest letters recently, good luck to " ac" choose wisely. ;D ;D

seen hazlewood and dad in jacksonville at coach carl erickson pole vault pit, where my daughter goes, dad more r less told me aaron was done with football & probably was going to lamar for education. this kid just flew done the runway & vaults pretty good for no more work he had a chance to do in vaulting, he could be really good if he applied himself, really good.

bmt coach washinton got us interested in summer track. being from lumberton, we traveled to brook to run over there. this started the hardin co. track club. track in general is the most natural thing (sport) that will help in all other sports. im very proud of leslie, she has already recieved several interest letters from track programs. back to a'lexus, ive watched her for a couple of years now, the last time at state, she is truely a very special athlete,heads above most, her parents should be very proud of this young lady, good luck . ;D

hurdleguy, her name is leslie beard, anthony beards cuzz. she finished 8th in the pole vault in austin in the 4a , she was a freshman. she ran in the usatf ,400 & pole vault, were she won the gulf coast regional meet. she went to dallas in another finals qualify meet were she placed 3rd , & earned a spot at the jr. olympics finals in omaha. she ended up 17th in the nation & ranked 23 rd overall in usatf nationally, in the pole vault. she currently looks real good in the vault, & trying to run a 57-58 in the 400 this year as a soph. she should jump between 11'6 to 12'0 this year. on the other hand, alexus b. is for sure a rare talent, she just awesome. hope her efforts pay for her future,good luck to her

jacob is 6'0 - 215. he ran a 4.56 at the oklahoma st. camp last year. he has as good as hands as a young man could have. he played d-line in 07 & some de this year. if some one would give him a chance he would proove his worth, he can play some ball. kinda fiesty on the field with refs & other team though, this could hurt him a little, but hes a fine young man. good luck jake

anthony beard has been invited to attend the regional army camp but it looks like rehab is going to keep him from the invite. he still needs august -sept to be about 90 + percent. a.c will be going to texas a & m this weekend & l s u in a couple of weeks for his invites there. rehab looks really good right now, no problems at all. ;D

MR C.M. looked pretty good against the nations elite. must have averaged 10 + yds per carry. congrats to him & his family, bmt grew a fine one in michael. good luck at college station.

thing is noles, nobody said we think we won the super bowl-so on, 4a all state team is the thred. you come at these young men & our team like we started this thread all pump ltown up. nobody doubts that other young men could of or should of made these selections, but the ap selected these young men , not lumberton. no, coach did not get legislation passed to insure our boys get their due, nor did the governor of texas conspire with the uil, ap, or other higher ups to prop up lhs & then forget the other district players. look wos got overlooked,kirbyville surely was done a disjustice, but we did not select these young men to their credits, not that i disagree with these awards, yes others was overlooked but dont bag on these raiders for others who didnt give others their due.

newton qb, my neph anthony beard of lumberton had acl surgery about 4 + weeks ago& is doing great. had patella tendon grafted from donar, hes doing great. follow drs protocal & u also will do just fine. ac has been lifting weights on upper body & drs rehab & stretching on knee, good luck & just stay positive & keep busy, no slack time. ps. my wife is from newton, so her family will keep us informed of your recovery, again good luck ;D good seaSON AGAIN FOR THem eagles

i am talking to anthonys dad about his surgery. everything went really well. the mcl, meniscus,other ligaments,tendons, cartiledge,ect, was in really good shape. a donar achilles tendon was used to repair the acl. the dr said this was the strongest possible tendon,replacement that can be used. dr said ac had really large bones & that his knee had to take a hell of a blown to injure this hoss. ac will be fine. dr said that his knee would be stronger than before.everything is great. on another note, some family in this area lost a loved one , no doubt in tragedy. they let drs harvest different things from this loved one so others could benefit, someone like anthony beard. to whoever allowed this supreme jester ,thanks for helping ac & his family with our situation, beard family sincerely says thank you & god bless. ;D ;D ;D

i really love them raiders guys, but all teams better take one game at a time. i like the raiders chances but really think dayton might get a christmas wish/present this year . good luck to these two teams

there is no intention to be back to eary , this will be by the book. the tendon graft will be from donar & is supposed to be stronger than the acl(ligament) 6 - 8 months complete recovery. they will start ac rehab as soon as possible, dr. said knee would be stronger than before. also would be smart to wear brace at first, practice & games. guess donar tendon was located as of this date dont know. thursday well see.

I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT AC WOULD HAVE HIS SURGERY THURSDAY. I THINK THEY WILL USE A ACHILLES TENDON FOR REPLACEMENT. NICKNAME ( AC-CHILLES) NAH. GOOD LUCK KNOT HEAD & SPEEDY RECOVERY ,LOVE YA UNCLE ROG
