What about Ozen ? They are at least #3 TABC disagrees, so I guess I do too Koutze #7 OF #9 Central #18 BH #20 HJ...they're just good I say Ozen would be 6 or 7.. I've seen Orangefield, Ozen, Central, Kountze, and Hardin Jefferson play and Ozen belongs in the top 3 in my opinion. As far as a team, they have more true ATHLETES than anyone. But, everyone has their own opinions.

LCM beat S. Houston at 9:00 AM this morning. Heard it was a terrible game though. They will play Crosby at 3:00 PM.

Your thoughts have been echoed many times through all of the threads about LCM football and I agree with you. The foundation for ALL winning sports programs are exactly the same. The difference is finding a coach that knows these virtues and does not waver from them. It's a whole lot easier to keep the reigns tight than to drop them and try to regain control. Some people have questioned the kids drive and "want to" at LCM. The same kids who respond to the disciple, respect, and leadership in the baseball and basketball programs would do the same on the football field if that leadership was provided. Good Post Slam..... Now get busy on those softball fields !! ;) ;D ;D

Nederland is definitely a Play-off CONTENDER. I've seen them play a couple of times this year and they play very well together. I wish they weren't, since my Daughter plays for LCM, but they will compete for a playoff spot this year. They use alot of girls and their Coach knows what he's doing. One game is not going to make or break them.

Got a FULL Days worth of games ! Using 8 fields. First game starts at 8:30 Am and the last game is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM.

The LCM family has been BUZZING for several years now ! Just most of the buzzing has been from the other sports that have been affected by the AD's decisions. But, at least now the whole school will be letting their feelings on the matter heard.......hopefully This is a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE decision to make for the kids and the LCM community ! Obviously someone does not bleed GREEN AND GOLD but YELLOW !
