I called ball back when you got 10 dollars per game and no mileage. I never said that all refs were bad, the most in upper classes do a good job! but for the most part in this area what I've seen in 1-a are not as lets just say good. There are some that love the game and do very well.  When they just come back with if you don't like it suit up and try it your self tells me there not intrested in improving AND ITS A BURDON ON THEM TO TRY!

like i said before it not a perfect game we are looking for its consistency if you are consistant thats great but your not there to change the outcome your there to make sure its fair. and to be consistant on both sides of the ball

DOVE : why 1-A as i recall ya'll won the game but 3-A HF far frome handled the rebs  we even congrad.your team and it was good to see they got little dove to run the floor bout time.  we tend to play up or down to the competition that wont get us far in the play offs so i hope we can cure this by playoff time

this was not started as a witch hunt i just think the uil should have a way to spread the knowledge and teach the refs to be more consistent

I'm not saying they need to call a perfect game I'm saying they need to call as consistantly as possible and know the rules when they let varsity kids play all out with out inforcing the rules tempers flare and kids get hurt.  like when a guy goes up for a rebound and another guy runs under him taking his feet out from under him its a foul oh waite no foul called thats what causes tempers to get crazy and it should never get to that point!

Every parent that has a kid in sports live their past somewhat through their kids. As for the rebel fans they are some off the nicest people you'll ever meet! I don't know any of them that wouldn't give you the shirt  off their back if you needed it. There isn't a school around that don't have some extreme fans including yours.   AND TRUE BLUE HAS A RIGHT TO BE PROUD OF HIS SON HE'S A GOOD KID.                      DON'T BE HATE'N

I KNOW THIS MIGHT MAKE SOME PEOPLE MAD  BUT SOMETHING NEEDS TO HAPPEN. they should give out grades for the way the refs call the games  and their pay aught to reflect their grade judged by independent judges from UIL or TASO  MAYBE JUST MAYBE THEY WOULD TRY TO LEARN TO CALL A LITTLE BETTER! I don't know if its just 1-A or if its the whole of the UIL but the calls or so random its like well i missed that one I'll make up  for it this time down the court. I'm not calling out every Ref but come on guys at least 1/3 of the Refs I've seen this year seem to be in lala land . I mean you call a little hand check but completely miss a hack or a lasso for lack of a better word . (grabbing someone around the neck) this is it I've had my say . sorry to the Refs that are working hard to learn their craft, cause that's what it is, it's a craft take pride in what you do!
