I have to agree with you on this one, could be long night for the Hornets. Going with the Hornets by 3. This should be a great game, rain could hurt the Hornets passing attack.

EC always have good talent and a potential playoff team every year. Those men down in Winnie know how to work hard and are so competitive

HJ also had 2 fumble recoveries...Hardin turned the ball over like 4 times. one was by the visitor side and one was by the home side when the receiver caught the ball then HJ's helmet hit the ball straight into the air. Hardin also returned a pick for 6 on home side

These schedules look pretty much even to me. Look at them this way: Toughest game: HD has Hardin, WH has New Waverly... (WH has the toughest opponent, by far) Average game: HD has 1A Tenaha, WH has 2A Warren (Teneha better, but 1A. Warren might be improving) Easier game: HD has Kountze WH has BC JV (HD has tougher opponent) So, as I see it, WH has the toughest game, and the easiest game. HD has a more evened out schedule. All in all, pretty equal. I wouldn't criticize either line up. Both will be good to have. This is an unbiased opinion, and I know the 2A and 1A teams pretty well. After the last thrashing Hornets gave the Oilers the dropped us like a hot rock, Jordan, Stelly, Snook could have dropped a 100, Stelly didn't even play the second half. Daisetta the better team by far between the the 2. Coach Slack know's to play tough opponents to get ready for district and HD always has some great athletes. Why would you play someones JV or Freshman or whatever makes no sense.

Nobody in this district running a 4.4 that is olympic speed. How many 4.4 did you see at the NFL Combine.

We heard that crap last year. Guess who won !!! H-D WON !!! This ole 1A small school has a tradition of beating bigger schools. Last year all we heard on here was how Stelly and Villamez was gonna kill H-D. Aaron Cook rushed for more yards than Stelly and Villamez combined. Also that Bobcat defense was hitting Hardin in the mouth all night. H-D has always shut down Hardin's stars like Andre Fairley,John Ballew,Pat Reescano,Peanut Reescano, John Stelly and Mitch Villamez. OK Marvin Elliot was conservative but Hardin by as much as they want.

Excuses Excuses !!! 43-6 is 43-6. Down right embarrassing !!! Hardin was almost always the bigger school in those H-D games. Hardin was the one that dropped us, they said they had to much to lose, losing to a small school.

Pulling for the Hornets but if HD able to run the ball Hardin could be in trouble. Defense will definitely miss Pate and Stelly.

Mitch is good, but Albritton from Anahuac is the best athlete in this District. Anyone know how Albritton did at 7 on 7 at College Station. I know Hardin pulled due to recent tragedy within.

Not so sure they will be that good Bush Pilot, but will be pretty good. Talked with Stelly and he said that Mitch had been working out with him and weight was up close to 200lbs. Stelly states that if anyone blocks he will be a MONSTER to deal with.

With Mitch being the best one coming back (and a senior) if he didnt show leadership then IMO that would hurt the team. Leadership is vital in many if not all successfull teams and if he does become the leader then i believe they (Hardin) will be tough to defeat next year. Whats the word on Stelly? Where is he going to play? Stelly playing at Northeastern State University in OK. Got A Great Scholarship!
