I agree Bucof2010 kville should be in 3a taking the bashing their used to one of the largest 2a schools in the state. Now Newton is a powerhouse 2a team. How bout theres always basketball, and you'll know thats a whole different story...well the same story but you'll are on the blunt end of it Who cares about Basketball..LOL..J/K...dont get upset...but really..I'm not a basketball fan..could care less about basketball. Remember watching Hardin and Colmesneil when a wideout came across the middle and John Stelly hit him, the kid laid motion less untill EMS left the stadium. Colmesneil Coach called scrimmage after the hit.

Villemez at Hardin is the best tailback, Stelly best fullback benchs 400.

Thats not always the outcome. I can remember a class 2 years ago who only won 2 games both 7 and 8 grade seasons, and turned around everything in there freshman year and was district runner up and the following year won a couple guys from that class help Liberty win district for the second year in a row, and winning the Bi-District championship Anything can happen when kids are involved

I agree a blow out by Newton no the newton buna game will not be close..at all. newton is LOADED..it will be just like it was last year. everyone thought it would be close and it ended up being a blowout.

Should have hired Stan Hodges when they had a chance. This guy knows how to win and keep kids coming out just look at his turnaround at Kountze. I believe the selection committee wanted him but board chose this guy instead.

Great JOB O-LINE, Both Villemez and Stelly ran at will. The QB had plent of time to throw. Stelly had his Defense ready for battle forcing turnovers with some monster hits. The Davis #77 kid really stood out to me in this game all around the ball and all over their QB. Great team win.

Stangbacker bet the Hornets will win this one, give Hardin Coach this much time to prepare and his Hornets will be ready.
