How do bonds work and who is stupid enough to post whatever? ie: the 5 mil bond on the Cleveland killings

Am I right in saying that if he confesses the death penalty is off the table. Also his live in girl and a friend are in jail on 1 mil bod each, Aiding and abetting. Leads to my next question. How do bonds work and who is stupid enough to post whatever.

It's kinda like being in the army where one guy screws up and everybody pays. In this case it is a known place where things happen all the time so the officer/officers are going on reasonable precaution and will detain anybody they think are breaking the law.

I'd let him/her sit there and have it towed. LOL I believe the have to follow a legal order.
