It is not too difficult, even a 3rd grader could have ascertained that thought process.

Again, Time To Eliminate Federal Departments.
Englebert replied to Reagan's topic in Political Forum
If Trump follows through on this then he will be around 1/100th of the way of cutting what needs to be cut in the Federal government. Still a long way to go, but a good start. -
By your post it is apparent that you prefer your party members to be in lock step with each other with no diversity of thought. That is, each party member will support or reject a bill, not based on merit, but on which party proposed the bill. You must be proud.

So, they want to sell your browsing history
Englebert replied to westend1's topic in Political Forum
They've already been doing it for years, even with FCC regulations. I applaud Obama's attempt at controlling this, and the ones (mostly Republicans down party lines) should be removed from office in the next election, but there is a reason behind their votes. The rationale from the Republicans is that tracking and selling consumer data allows for a revenue stream for the ISPs. If they were not allowed to have this extra revenue stream, they would be forced to raised internet service fees, thus dumping the higher costs on consumers instead of marketers. Many polls and surveys (not that I trust polls or surveys) have shown that consumers prefer enduring advertisements if it means lowered costs, rather than paying higher service costs while ensuring privacy, even though they say they want privacy. I would prefer having a choice between companies...that is one company can maintain a policy that they ensure consumer privacy, but you have to pay more for the service, while another company can adopt a policy of selling consumer data while offering the services at a lowered costs. This has already been done, and consumers have overwhelmingly chose companies that use the latter policy, much to my chagrin. Thus pretty much every company has adopted this strategy. Obama's regulation did not prevent companies from selling consumer data. Instead, it made the default option set to no on selling your data, and the company has to get your explicit approval. This is being rolled back by the Republicans to return to the default option of yes to selling your data, and the consumer has to explicitly opt out. I know from experience that opting out is not even an option. Sure you can contact the company and opt out, but it becomes your responsibility to maintain proof that you opted out. Thus to win a lawsuit against companies that skirt the law becomes very, very difficult, and the companies know this. Having the default set to no shifts the burden of proof back onto the companies, and therefore more open to lawsuits. The Republicans are setting the standard to what consumers have shown they want. The Democrats prefer the standard to what the consumers say they want. I'll side with the Democrats on this issue, even though the majority of people have shown they will side with the Republicans. -
Why won't Trump make White House visitor logs available?
Englebert replied to westend1's topic in Political Forum
He's got a long way to go to catch Obama in the lie department. Frankly, I'm fairly certain Obama has an insurmountable lead and will probably hold the title for the duration of America's existence...or at least until we elect another Democrat. -
And everyone gets to show their true colors and hidden biases and latent hatred. I just respond in kind. Again, your interpretation and analytical skills are sorely lacking. Your use of the word baddass means your comprehension skills need a lot of work. You can start by looking up the meaning of sarcasm.

North Hollywood Schools Budgets Cut - To Many Whites
Englebert replied to Hagar's topic in Political Forum
Many just look at this as an acceptable double standard. This double standard is acceptable to make up for all of the past ills imposed on minorities in the past, regardless of the strides many non-minorities have made. Relent an inch, expect a mile in blame. -
I watched it a few times myself, initially believing the reports. The Florida coach deserves an apology for having to put up with this attempted assault. If any evidence that contradicts this initial video surfaces, I will gladly retract my statements. And ECBucFan is 100% accurate. Reversed roles wouldn't even garner a review...and the unemployment line would have increased by one.
-
Only a brain-dead Liberal snowflake would call for an apology for a jest that has no racial overtones whatsoever. Should you, and yes you should, apologize to every White person, and especially every Southern White person for your negative stereotypes. You holier than thou POS have metaphorically blood on your hands, then want to spout about a harmless jest. You are pathetic. You are more than pathetic, you are a hypocrite at the highest order...and I will never....let me restate that...I will never have an ounce of respect for you from here on. Just joking, I've always known you were a POS but still enjoy jabbing at your pathetic posts...and will enjoy doing it in the future. Everyone knows you have zero credibility and your attempts at race baiting are just laughable. Please keep posting...we need a good daily laugh. And since Big Girl and New Tobie rarely grace us, you are our last bastion of comic relief.

Why won't Trump make White House visitor logs available?
Englebert replied to westend1's topic in Political Forum
I'm confused as to who the "no answer" was directed. If it was directed at me, then I clearly stated in the first sentence I think the White House should release the logs...no ambiguity. Since I answered the question directly there is also zero deflection. Stevenash just asked if you agreed with my post...so I'm not sure who your post is directed at. I'm assuming since I added more than the question asked you are trying to play that as deflection, but I would like a clarification...and reasoning for your perplexing assumption. Of course you could have been directing the question at him, which also begs the question of why. -
And just what fine institution of higher learning did you obtain your degree and qualifications to assess and make that claim? Just admit it, it's your opinion, and based on your previous posts we know how much credence to give to your opinions.
-
Have you ever heard of ground penetrating radar? Do you have any clue as to how much it costs to dig a tunnel? I'm sure some will try, and some might succeed, but the majority of folks will not. Are you worried a thief might dig a tunnel to get into your house? If not, why? (Think of cost effectiveness analysis when deliberating.) And do you think it might be a tip-off to the border patrol if they see hundreds of people coming out of the same house? Do you think at least one of the border agents might suspect there could possibly be a tunnel located under the house? How many people do you think can leave one location without drawing suspicion? And frankly I do not care so much for the wall as I do E-Verify and locking up and/or severely fining those that hire illegals.

Who stole your lunch money? I'll give you a hint, it wasn't Trump.
-
Then do it. For every one you post I can post 100. You've been asked repeatedly to validate your claims, but always fail miserably. Now get back on topic or start your own. Your baseless racist claims fall on deaf ears and are of no use to anyone.
-
No, I don't believe you "gotcha". It is abundantly clear you have no clue.
-
I was wondering when you where going to fall back on the bogus racist claims. When it's all you got...

Why won't Trump make White House visitor logs available?
Englebert replied to westend1's topic in Political Forum
If true, Trump needs to make the visitor logs available...along with releasing the Fast & Furious documents, the I.R.S. targeting documents, the Benghazi documents, the James Rosen/Family & AP Reporters surveillance (and whoever else) documents, the Trump Tower surveillance documents, the Iran deal, the huge backlog of FOIA requests, the real Obamacare numbers, etc. He also needs to release the Roswell crash documents and the Kennedy assassination documents. But the most important ones are Obama's college transcripts and birth certificate. He might as well through his tax returns in there also. -
Blah, blah, blah...you got nothing. It really is pathetic and embarrassing for you. You can't back up anything you say. When I refute your claims, which are lifted straight from Left wing sites, your only response is I parrot Conservative blogs. That is just childish. You are a textbook Liberal (which is not a compliment, in fact, is paramount to the ultimate derogatory comment) and you can't see it. Would you like to have a go at saving what little dignity you have left and try to refute any part of my response? I'll play your little gutter snipe game as long as you can back up your contentions. So far you can't. Let's start with the first one. You said the Republicans have no plan. Here's an article from that bastion of wing-nut Liberal ideology Politifact from 2013 in which they agree Republicans have over 20 health care proposals: [Hidden Content] And also: [Hidden Content] Since 2013 many others have been proposed: [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] [Hidden Content] Shall I continue. These links are from just the first page of a Bing search. Now don't you feel silly. Would you like to move to Point 2 or should you just concede you are just a sheeple for the wing-nut Liberal Party formerly known as the Democrat Party.

They added a rider of replace to the repeal bill. That's the difference and that's why it failed, and thankfully so. They need to just repeal the thing.
-
1. Republicans have multiple plans, just not one consensus plan that the members will go along to get along. Can't say that about the other party who voted on a bill they didn't even read, or even had a chance to read. The fact that Democrats voted on a bill they didn't read has to be one of the most embarrassing acts in the history of the United States. 2. Yes the RINOs are spouting they have to replace at the same time as repeal so that the 11 million on Obamacare can keep relying on the taxpayer to foot their bill. What they don't realize is that repeal of Obamacare does not kick off or prevent anyone from obtaining health insurance, but instead shifts the burden of payment back to each individual. 3. Agreed 4. You know nothing about White people. (I had to throw that in for giggles.) You've had every chance to backup your assertion of massive protests at the town hall meetings, more chances than you have given Trump before pinning the liar moniker. So is it time you admit you are a liar? 5. - 9. You are spouting a whole lot of nothing. 10. Those tea party politicians are not worried about how upset snowflakes will get about the repeal of Obamacare. Those wing-nut Liberals that are crying wouldn't vote for a Republican anyway. You might want to pull you head out of your safe space and expand your horizons on sources of information, because if you think any Republican will upset their base by repealing Obamacare, then you might be just too brainwashed by the Liberal media for any hope. If Republicans replace Obamacare with another monstrosity of a governmental ran entitlement fiasco, then they will upset many, many of their voters. That is what they are worried about, and rightly so.

Trump has done more positive things in his first few months than Obama did in 8 years. And who is being ugly? Do you have a clue? After all, you think protecting Americans is somehow a racist act towards Muslims. So your judgment of "ugly" is not to be trusted.
-
The RINOs are the ones that want to replace Obamacare. The truer Republicans are the ones that want to repeal Obamacare only. Repeal of Obamacare could happen tomorrow except for the RINOs who are adamant about replacing Obamacare at the same time as repeal. I think Rand Paul's plan would pass in short order without the obstruction of those pushing Ryancare.

Mass demonstrations....of what? When any of the demonstrators are asked why they are out here, they get that blank, scared, stupid look on their face (the ones that dare show their face) and just say something on the verge of retardation (if they say anything at all) like "uh, uh, uh, Fox lies". How about you step up and explain to us what these demonstrations are about. We sure can't find out by questioning the ones out there. And you keep claiming of mass demonstrations of town halls, but still can't provide a link. Didn't you accuse Trump of lying because he didn't back up a statement? Now that a congressman has backed up his statement, questions have emerged on his truthfulness, not so much on yours. Ratings at an all time low...this coming from the same polls that said Hillary would win in a landslide, the Democrats would take back the Senate and probably take back the House. How did those polls work out for you? And you can't go on and on. This is all you got...which is nothing. And at least you got the ending qualifier describing your post correct. You could have ended with "embarrassing", which would have been more appropriate.

From the New York Times: [Hidden Content] Do you think Clinton had any persuasive influence over anyone making the decision? Frankly, I don't know. But it is sure highly coincidental that the cash flowed into the Clinton Foundation from the Russians during this oversight decision. I would also like to know if any of the other department heads received "charitable" contributions during this time, either from the Russians or from the Clinton Foundation.

A few things this "study" failed to mention: Who are all of the world class doctors emanating from these countries? What are all of the new breakthrough miracle drugs and medicines coming from this list? What are the new and innovative medical devices being rolled out? How much money do these countries spend on R&D? Do you think the cost per person for medical care and healthcare would rise if those countries spent that R&D money? Do you think the best and brightest from these countries go into medicine if they know the government will control their earnings forcing them to live on an average working wage, or do they come to America to get their education and open their practices here to pursue the American dream?
