I was perusing through some old newspapers when I came across an article in the Abilene Reporter newspaper from December 1942. The topic of the article centered on the decline in attendance of high school football games in Texas. The article explained that the attendance figures had steadily increased from 1920 to a record high in 1940. Then a sharp decline occurred in 1941 and 1942. The writer then surmised that the Texas Interscholastic League director must be blamed, since this decline happened on his watch. Just kidding, everyone knows the decline in attendance was due to World War II. Anyone that would dare blame the director could honestly be called a big ol' fat liar!

Just the same old garbage lies. How are you not embarrassed beyond believe for peddling this crap? Can you please restate that proof of Trump's policies that created a poor economy. I would like a chuckle, well, boisterous laugh this morning.

You just analogized to a tee the situation going on with the Trump New York trial. And I bet you can't even see the hypocrisy elicited out of your hatred. If the voting public is so flaky that 3/4 will turn against her because of this news, why didn't they also turn on Obama when it was discovered that he actually ate dog? Maybe because the media didn't play up his transgressions? And if that is the case, how much power does the media have? They can sink a career for killing a dog, but dismiss and bury a story of eating a dog? How influential would the media be if someone other that Trump won the nomination. Let's say DeSantis was the Republican frontrunner...how easy would it be for the media to bury his candidacy...instead of him having that perceived cakewalk to president? I'm just thinking out loud.

I think we are on the same page on most things, but almost polar opposites regarding how Trump will act as president. I hope you are right on the revenge thing. I hope he nails them to the wall. God knows they deserve it.

It would shock me beyond belief if he tried to. Now, I hope and pray he appoints people that will investigate, charge, and imprison anyone found guilty of the crimes against him...including treason. I would be all for a special task force charged solely with the task of investigating crimes against Trump. Of course the Democrats will be screaming bloody murder that Trump is weaponizing the government against them. We all know the story. From a cursory standpoint, there seems to be a plethora of evidence to lock up many Democrats for a long time. Unless this is done, I see no end to destruction of our political system...and this country.

Both sides...that is, everyone tries to get their people elected. Trump has not weaponized the government to bankrupt and imprison his political opponents. Night and day difference for me.

Denial is also in that book. Maybe you should read it.

I'm glad Trump is the nominee and future president. I think one of our most pressing crisis right now is the corruption in our goverenment (FBI, DOJ, IRS, etc) and in the Democrat party. They have sunk to banana republic tactics, and if nothing is done, they will continue these methods. Imprisoning and bankrupting political opponents should not and cannot be tolerated. These things can and will topple a great nation. I don't know if Trump will go after the Demcrats and the goverment agencies that have gone after him, but he definitely has the motive to do it. I don't think any of the other Republican candidates would seek justice against these anti-Americans. As a bonus, Trumps policies have been shown to be a great boon for our country (and nobody on here can prove that to be wrong). I fear that without retribution to what the Democrats have done, this country is on a speedy and unstoppable downward spiral. I think my hatred of what the Democrats have done to our country is greater than the hatred CardinalBacker has for Trump. Well, I shouldn't get carried too far away.

Do you feel you are a decent and moral person? You try to group all MAGA supporters (including me) as lacking those things. Do you include yourself as having these values, especially after looking at the way you treat others? Are you above MAGA folks in moral standing? Are you above me in moral standing? Are you directly impugning my moral standing because I will choose to vote a certain way? Tell me again, who lacks decency and morality?

That's so cute. You actually think you "keep dropping facts" that prove Trump was bad for the economy. You have yet to "drop" one fact that proves your point. Trump's policies were good for the economy, and you can't give any refuting "facts". Your little analogy comes from some Liberal fantasy land that applies to Democrats. I've seen people fart better scenarios. Trump shut down the government to prevent your little lie from becoming reality. TDS is a hell of a drug apparently. But keep trying...it might be embarrassing for you but it is entertaining for us.
