  1. Back in High school (the 1980s), I had a friend that we all called Turkey. He loved the nickname. He was also black. One day I was with a group of friends that were not from my school. I think we were at Parkdale Mall. We were sitting around chatting and I noticed Turkey walking by. I hollered out "Hey Turkey". He looked, smiled, waved at me and I waved back. One of the people in the group (who didn't know Turkey) looked at me in astonishment and asked "That was racist don't you think?". I was befuddled. I asked her why she would think that. She said I just called a black man Turkey, as in Jive Turkey. I started laughing and explained to her that his nickname was Turkey because he was born on Thanksgiving day. If she would not have questioned why I called him Turkey, she would probably to this day think she witnessed an act of racism. When a person has a pre-conceived notion about someone, instead of looking at things objectively many try to twist and bend the facts to fit in that pre-conceived idea. Some just throw out the race card because they know they won't have to defend themselves. So every time I hear an accusation of racism, my immediate thought is either it was some misunderstanding or someone throwing out the race card because they know they won't be challenged. There are true acts of racism, but the bombardment of false accusations makes it hard to see the real ones.
  2. 4 of 10 want to block him. Which means 6 of 10 want to keep him. That's a higher percentage of people that want to keep him than the percentage of votes Obama received in his "landslide" victory.
  3. You accuse Fox News of throwing out racist comments. Name one. If they throw out racist comments like you say they do, this should be an easy task. (And just a little hint, disagreeing with Obama's policies in not racism.)
  4. What part of your enlightened self thinks I refuse to acknowledge anything? Are you trying to profile me again?
  5. But yet you falsely accuse people of being racist. You fuel the fire.
  6. Or maybe it is just what you think they are saying. You proved my point.
  7. I see false accusations of racism every day. Maybe if the Liberals would quit throwing out baseless accusations then maybe we could start focusing on real acts of racism. Just like your statement "Republicans show it everyday", I bet you can't name one act that happened yesterday, but you will continue to falsely accuse people. That is reprehensible. And that "we're better than you are" attitude better describes many of the progressive liberals who think they are so enlightened.
  8. But yet there are black families living in Lumberton without any cross-burnings in their front yard. Blows that narrative doesn't it. And has there been racism incidents in Vidor lately. Maybe the Vidor citizens have flip-flopped (or evolved if they are liberal).
  9. Perceived racism by Republicans is what fuels the Left. The Democrat leaders just throw out unfounded racism accusations and the Liberal followers fall in line like good little sheeple.
  10. You must watch a hell-of-a-lot of Fox News. Starting to sound like you know their programming like the back of your hand. Or maybe you are just parroting MSNBC talking points?
  11. If you believe that Trump won't be able to make any decisions, why are you so afraid of him occupying the White House?
  12. I'm voting for Trump because he is the lesser of two evils. I will probably puke when I do vote for him, but I couldn't live with myself if I voted for Hillary. Your personal attacks are kind of funny. You've said twice that I use Fox News talking points. Can you point to one I've used, or is this your attempt at profiling? My rational for not voting for Hillary is sound. This country is almost $20 trillion dollars in debt, and yet she wants to continue spending. This country cannot survive much more of these liberal spending policies. And you want to talk about divorces. And you didn't "clean up" my analogy. My analogy was dealing with the fact that many Liberals try to rationalize voting for Hillary based on the idea that she has experience and Trump has no experience. I refuted that contention with the analogy. You did nothing to refute that. You just went into an anti-Trump rant. But then again, it's clear from your rant you are all about profiling. I hope this is not your best attempt for a debate. I'm pretty confident you don't want a debate, you just want to spew your hate for Trump. If that is your goal, I'm not the one you need to be debating. I'm no Trump fan. If you want to debate on whether Hillary is qualified base on her "experience", I'm all for that.
  13. Yes! Anyone that is being attacked and is fearing for his life has the right to use force, even deadly force, to stop that attack. You keep trying to say he was shot for walking in the street. That is profoundly untrue. He was shot because he started charging the officer.
  14. I was say he was necessarily stopped.
  15. He wasn't punished. He was stopped.
  16. Would you rather be working with someone that has 10 years of experience with 50 accidents on his record, or someone with 1 year of experience with no accidents?
  17. What's comical about it? Do you not understand it?
  18. Yes it does. Many times correctly. Sometimes it's highly misleading.
  19. What's comical about it? Do you not understand it?
  20. Let me try another analogy. You're in the bottom of the 9th inning, 2 outs, bases loaded, down by 1 run. The batter is 0-20 lifetime with 20 strikeouts versus the pitcher on the mound. You have a hitter in the dugout that has never faced the current pitcher. Do you go with the batter, or use a substitute? I think I would sub.
  21. Experience is only helpful if one gains knowledge from that experience. Experience itself means absolutely nothing.
  22. Where is any proof that Trump has not paid "his fair share" of taxes. Oh right, Harry Reid must have said it. Bad business dealings? The man is worth billions, so I'm certain he made a few good business decisions mixed in with those bankruptcies. Divorces...who cares about that. Trump made his billions in the private sector. Hillary has the Clinton Foundation slush fund, earning her millions while Secretary of State. Hmmm. Hillary was fired from her lawyer firm for "unethical practices". When a lawyer gets fired by another lawyer for unethical practices, that is shocking. And let's not forget Benghazi, the email server, the fake sniper fire,...oh gosh, this list can get long in a hurry. As far as her qualifications vs Trump's qualifications, I'll put it like this. You are tasked with hiring a new plant manager, and the only two applicants are one with 5 previous plant manager jobs and one with no plant managerial experience. After a little research you discover that the one with 5 previous plant manager jobs were all at plants that blew up on her watch. I think I would go with the one with no experience.
