LCM is currently +3 and just has to stay better than -9, which is an 11 point loss or less. In this scenario, LCM, Nederland and Livingston all have better point differentials than PNG. Let me know if you find something wrong with this one.

I remember watching a game a few years ago where the defense had 3 15 yard penalties against them on one play ("hands to the face", "leg whip", and "facemask" I think) while the offense had a five yard penalty (illegal motion - two men in motion) on the same play. Penalties offset and the down was replayed. This is a perfect example of why penalties should be added instead of offsetting.

There are no games being played on that Friday the 17th at BISD Stadium. [/quote] It could be for travel reasons. Playing a Friday game at 7:30 would have Katy travelling through Houston at rush hour. I don't know if that's the real reason, just a possibility. I'm not a fan of High School games on Saturday, so I hope there are other circumstances other than just conveinance. I would hate for a trend to get started where everyone would start scheduling games on Saturday just for ease of travel.

Is the Beaumont Enterprise not-so-subtly protesting the new name of the stadium by ignoring it?
