This is not a reply to you Bullets, just a rant I want to expound upon my previous post. You got me riled up...in a good way. I think I can make my point clearer. If Trump would have "abdicated his thrown" for whatever reason the first week into his presidency, Mike Pence would have assumed the role. Pence's moral/social standing is impeccable. If Pence would have enacted the same exact policies as Trump, I have absolutely no doubt, repeat, absolutely no doubt, that the same character assassinations would have commenced upon him. Lies, fake conspiracies, fake accusations would have been just as rampant. (See Brett Kavanaugh.) Pence's policy successes would have been ignored/buried per Liberal playbook. Through these unconscionable attacks, the Liberal media would have mobilized the anti-"GOP" vote no matter who was at the helm. History has shown this clear as day to me. It is even worse now. Watch how the media treats politicians differently based on party. Watch which scandals based on evidence get buried, and which scandals "go viral" based on zero credible evidence, you know...anonymous sources backed up by biased "experts". It has come to pass, it will come again.

I'm not apologizing at all for Trump's tweets/actions. In fact, I didn't like many of them, hated some. I liked that he did punch back when a punch was thrown at him. Probably because McCain, Romney, Bush never fought back against the punches (lies) thrown at them. What I'm doing is putting less weight on his tweets/personal actions and judging him more on his policy results. You are putting more weight on his tweets/personal actions than I do to evaluate the man. That's a slight but very common difference in philosophy. Everyone has their own set of weights. But I'm definitely not apologizing for him. I will defend him for the media outrage that was perpetrated on him. Some of it was deserved because of his own actions, but most of it was just pure hatred by the Liberals. This has been their tactic (see Romney, McCain, Bush, Bush, and Reagan), but it was ramped up ten fold for Trump. I found that unacceptable and am disgusted by it. If the media would have bashed him for his bad behavior, but also treated him fairly for his policy successes, then he would have won in a landslide. He did not doom his candidacy, he was railroaded by the media. The media mobilized the Democrat voters through lies. Those lies against him, or anyone, is unacceptable to me. And I definitely want to make that clear to as many as possible. The next GOP candidate will be accused of every immoral action known to man. The media/Liberals now know they can get away with this ratcheted strategy because it worked so well on Trump. We actually have people that voted for an incompetent fool because the media trashed a very, very successful incumbent. Social media tech was complicit and an active participant in the hijacking of the election, and will ramp it up even more in the next election. So no, no apologies, only a realistic view of poor actions from both sides, weighted appropriately.

Who are the "Trump apologists"? Who are the ones defending his mean tweets? As petulant as Joe Biden acts now, can you imagine how he would react if the media treated him like they do Trump? Talk about "bigly" petulance. Do you think the media will go after the GOP candidate (whoever it may be) with every derogatory, unsavory, unethical accusation known to man? And yet, somehow Trump will still get the blame.

I posed this question in this forum a few years ago. Would it be legal for Texas to put illegal aliens on a bus and drop them off in Washington DC? I don't remember if I got an answer. Can Abbott legally use State resources to transport illegals to other states? Can Abbott legally use privately donated resources to transport illegals to other states? Can private citizens use private resources to transport illegals to other states at the request of the State? Does consent of the illegal matter? If the answer to the above questions is yes, do the illegals have to be willing participants. If say, Abbott loaded up a bus of illegals and told them they were headed to Washington DC, and one, some or all of the illegals said they did not want to go there, can he legally still send them? This kind of harkens back to the topic of whether or not States can kick a U.S. citizen out of their state.

I wonder if that was one of the embedded FBI agents chunking that fire extinguisher. Are you still trying to peddle the debunked narrative that Brian Sicknick was murdered by having his head bashed in with a fire extinguisher...like you did just recently? If the summer riots were mostly peaceful, this was comparatively a church service.

Trump has been under an IRS audit since before he took the presidential oath. Has anyone complained? It's comical how you think you have the capacity and skills to judge others. Then again, stereotyping doesn't require much skill.

Tell what you think? Were the peaceful protesters donning masks to conceal their identity while carrying frozen water bottles? Were they carrying sticks, bats, or other things? Did these people's attire resemble the protesters that burned, looted, and pillaged buildings last summer? Yeah, we can ignore all of that. Let's focus solely on skin color. Were any of the protesters that were of a different skin color blocked from entering, while those of the "correct" skin color (as you imply) ushered in? Please explain your rationale for focusing on skin color.

If a person is still perpetuating the resoundingly debunked fire extinguisher narrative, maybe that person should shy away from commenting on any Jan. 6 topic.

Name specifics of Trumps abhorent behavior, then apply your same "abhorrence" standard to Hillary and Biden. The difference is remarkably negligible. But you won't apply the same standard. You magnify Trump's faults ten fold over other's similiar behavior. It is glaringly obvious in your posts. And like I've stated previously, the media has applied your same double standards to Trump, accusing him of every ethical crime imaginable. Apparently they got you hook, line, and sinker. So let us start a list of Trump's unethical abhorent behavior you deem unacceptable. Then we can debate on whether you apply those same judgmental standards equally.

Let's see: 95% to 99% non-stop negative coverage. Omission of coverage on positive things...even spun to make them negative. False accusations and flat out lies bombarding the airwaves 24/7. Nobody can survive that type of character assassination...not even the Pope. Trump deserves some credit for some negative coverage, but if he would have had fair and honest press coverage then he would have won in a land slide. But let's put all of the blame on one man's actions instead of the obvious "collusion" perpetrated by the media. "Obvious" is not nearly a strong enough word. I can predict it now. The next GOP presidential candidate will be label by the media as: racist, homophobic, a threat to LBGT (whatever the other letters are), a threat to all "minorities" (including women), misogynistic, a firm supporter of White supremacy, a bully, zenophobic, etc. This will be true despite the race or gender of the candidate. Anyone want to take this bet? This is the Democrat playbook, executed to the hilt against Trump. And it worked. We actually have intelligent people right here on this very board that fell for the character assassination. The Dems will continue this strategy. Me too. I'm also for mandating a strict, healthy food regime for everyone. Have you noticed all of those fat slobs in the doctors office. I have to wait for hours to see the doctor because of these idiots. Let's force them to eat healthy. Ban meat. Ban dairy. Ban everything unhealthy in the name of protecting me, my family, my loved ones, and of course, our fearless political leaders. We need an "Operation Warp Speed" diet commission to produce a pill that those idiots must take so they will be healthy and will not fill up the hospitals. I hate looking at those disgusting people. They need to be forced into submission. I'm also in favor of mandatory exercise for these disgusting slobs. If you cannot show a body/fat ratio test that falls within a government mandated acceptable range, you cannot enter a restaurant. You cannot enter any public workplace. You cannot board a plane. I don't want to be forced to pay extra fuel costs trickled down into the cost of my plane ticket due to these fatties. Let's also mandate masks, year round, in all public and private places. I can't stand when these people cough or sneeze within 50 feet of me while not wearing a mask. Some of these disgusting people have the nerve to enter a grocery store during flu season...while I'm there. Don't these idiots realize they are spreading their disgusting germs in my presence. Mandatory masks will solve this problem. Of course we will need a federal commission to study how many masks these filthies must wear. I'm guessing 2 for first offense, 5 for second offense. The third offense should result in stapling the masks to their face. We must also control procreation. We, and every fellow enlightened one can agree, surely don't want these disgusting people spitting out more vile copies of themselves. Our leaders must mandate who can reproduce, and with who. This will greatly improve my future, as well as everyone I care about. I voted these political leaders into office. Their job is to protect me from those who make bad health choices in life. Luckily I, and our leaders are "sophisticated" and do not need to follow these rules. But those disgusting people must conform. So yes, I'm on board. Let's mandate the unwashed masses until they conform or die. The Earth will be a much better place once we get rid of the people that won't obey. Once we get rid of the unintelligent degenerates, then we can have a more scientific debate on what is healthy for the rest of us.
