Yes it does. Trump should be ashamed, as much as the swamp should be ashamed. He's proven himself as part of the problem. All of the good things he has done does not make up for this very poor decision, no matter how much he tries to flower his reasoning. Putting a pinch of sugar on a pile of crap does not make the crap any more palatable. And this spending bill is one big load, and I've only seen the highlights. I'm surprised that full citizenship for all illegals wasn't thrown in. Every other disgusting boondoggle is included. I'm convinced that the only way these politicians will learn is with full secession from the United States, and it should have happened yesterday.

What a monstrosity that only a Liberal can be proud of: [Hidden Content] I know this article doesn't convey all of the highlights of the spending bill, but includes enough to make every red-blooded American furious with our representatives. Kudos to Rand Paul (along with Jim Jordan and a couple of others) who adamantly oppose this bill and the manner in which is was passed. Since I haven't heard Ted Cruz's stance, Rand Paul has just zoomed to the top of my list of favorite politicians. No person who believes in the American dream should support this. In fact, every American should be livid that so many representatives even consider voting in favor, much less actually doing it. Impeach every single representative that votes in favor, and bring them up on charges of subversion. Secede Now! It can't get any worse! In honor of MIA Big Girl: Thoughts?

You say that as you are counting your extra cash...delivered by that "crazier than cat poop" president, while simultaneously praising the one that had zero problem confiscating your money while calling you weak minded. Yep, this is a crazy world. I wonder when we will run out of safe spaces, Play-doh, and Crayons. Even the puppies are laughing at the snowflakes.

I came very close to starting a topic a few days ago asking what sayings we miss the most on this board since the Liberals have left. For some reason I decided not to...figuring the post might be taken (erroneously) by some as "gloating for running the Liberals off" instead of the lighthearted jest as it was meant. I was predicting Grab'em would be the hands down winner, with the implied (and many times explicit) "y'all are just a bunch of racists" coming in second. It is nice not having to endure being called a racist in practically every Liberal post. The Grab'em comments just made me laugh. I figured the Liberals would jump back on here considering the Liberal news is harping on Trump's sexual indiscretions. I guess even they realize their hypocrisy on that subject is just too embarrassing.

And many still think we do not like Obama because of his skin color.

Here's One For Anyone That Believes In Gun Control:

Seems relevant here: [Hidden Content]

I'm outraged about it. So are a lot of other people. And if the President of every citizen of the United States continues on this path, he will probably be beat by a Republican challenger in a primary. If you think there is no outcry then you probably need to expand your news sources and not rely solely on the surfeit of bias Liberal coverage.

What, no BASEketball on this list. LOL. (I can't judge...I've never seen the movie. But from what I've heard, I'm guessing the omission is justifiable.)
-
Thanks for the post Nash. I've read many articles like this over the past 30 years, but they all seem to get buried in short order...because, like the article stated, it does not fit the "narrative". This one will also never see the light of day in the MSM, and will be buried just like all of the others, and the "leaders" of Liberalism will continue to spout their unproven narrative, simultaneously deriding and ridiculing skeptics (i.e. normal people) as heretics.
-
The comic relief has returned to the forum...and is still the tired old "everyone on the Right is a racist. No facts, no evidence, just playing the obedient sheeple part of parroting what my Liberal masters tell me to believe." Is it politically correct to laugh at such incoherent, regurgitated non-sense, or should we show empathy with the golden standard "bless his little heart"?
-
I don't recall anyone on the Right needing safe spaces replete with Play-Doh and puppies. Nor do I recall anyone on the Right needing to gather for a "scream at the sky" cathartic production. There is absolutely no equivalency no matter how loud Rosie O'Donnell and the Left scream it. Even the mere suggestion of a phantom equivalency is just downright laughable. I use this often, but it is especially relevant here. Saying the Right acted how the Left is acting now is like witnessing a ballgame in which the final score was 126-7 and saying "well, both teams scored".
-
After witnessing the blatant hypocrisy from the Left these past few years, you actually think the Right are the biggest hypocrites? Really? That deserves the obligatory (and capitalized) LOL. Even Rosie O'Donnell has to laugh at that one.

My opinion is that restrictions on gun ownership should equally apply to the right to vote. If you are not qualified to own a gun, you are not qualified to vote. If you are so mentally unstable that the 2nd amendment right of self protection must be stripped from you, then you are too mentally unstable to choose our representatives. If you are deemed not intelligent enough to safely operated a gun, you are not intelligent enough to choose our representatives. If you are deemed too immature to own a firearm until you are 25 years old, you are too immature to choose our representatives until you are 25 years old. If you are required to show an ID to purchase a gun, you should be required to show an ID to vote.
-
I'm not a gun control advocate, but I would love to get my hands on the list of people that actually purchased one of these shirts. This list is an example of mentally disturbed people not fit to own a firearm...or vote...or even be a part of a civilized society: [Hidden Content] This will take very, very little imagination, but imagine how the media would react if a GOP supporter was propagating things like this about Obama. No wonder the Left has disappeared from this site. How can anyone defend the actions of their fellow cohorts? But somehow, somewhere, many Liberals are still out there in their safe space spouting that Obama was treated badly as president, while simply ignoring the mountains of contradictory evidence piled right in front of their face. Would anyone care to buy one of these?
-
So are his judges..."obliviously".
-
That's why I keep asking for solutions. My responses to you are really meant to be generalized to the Left (especially the Liberal politicians) who passionately advocate for gun confiscation in the form of gun control. I realize you are not part of that particular group, but I respond to your posts because you seem to be the only one from the Left that has the guts to post on this topic. I apologize if you are anyone interpret my responses as an attack on you. I'm really just trying to provoke the Left into revealing their true agenda. If only they would respond.

Guns are made for the purpose that the owner wants it to be. My guns are made for self-protection. Some guns are made to kill animals for food. Some guns are made for sport. Some guns are made to kill. It all depends on the person operating the gun. If a person drives a vehicle to work, is that vehicle made to kill? If a person drives a vehicle into a crowd of people, is that car made to kill? Is the purpose of a tool defined by the tool or the person using the tool?
-
There is a whole topic on this issue for you to elaborate your ideas for tighter regulation. Why don't you venture over there and articulate some of these solutions. If you don't have any, then you fit right in with the rest of them. Is all talk and no solutions the new normal. (Sorry PamFam, I had to steal that line.)
-
If a person purposely drives a car into a crowd of people, killing some of them, are you going to blame the car? Will you shout to the rooftops about "car control"? I don't know about all guns, but my guns were designed, manufactured, purchased, and used for self defense. And cars do not have a whole amendment protecting their right of ownership and use. The comparison is obvious between the two. Many, more so on the Left, are livid about "lives being taken by guns", but casually accept the fact that (many more) "lives are being taken by cars". Why the outrage for one but not the other? As you stated, many safety features have been added over the years to make cars safer to operate. What features do you propose should be added to guns to make them safer to operate? I started this whole topic asking for solutions. The Liberals are the ones who show indignation for anyone that doesn't accept their solutions for gun control. The problem is that they have never offered any sensible solutions. So yes, pointing out Liberal rhetoric in this discussion is fair...and necessary. It is the Liberals that are co-opting the topic to a purely political one. By forcing them to articulate their solutions, they can be stripped of their asinine talking points and be exposed to offer viable solutions. Letting Liberals solicit votes from a tragedy will not fix anything.
-
Yes, rhetoric. My post specifically asked for solutions and you offered none. Your post implicitly stated that you are not happy about the current gun laws, and you chose to convey that point without offering any solutions...just as everyone else does that screams "gun control". So yes, rhetoric. Is it the new normal? What are your suggestings as solutions for it not becoming the new normal?
-
So no answers, no solutions, just more rhetoric? Here's your opportunity to offer a solution.
-
Since the latest school shooting, I've been (predictably) hearing many Liberals spouting their tired old rhetoric about gun control. Not only are they blaming "gun nuts" for not offering any solutions, many have even implied and outright stated that these "have blood on their hands". My question is "What have you proposed? Who really has blood on their hands?" This topic is an open invitation for anyone (on either side) to propose gun legislation ideas that will curtail gun violence in America. Please give your ideas for solutions. If you propose stricter background checks, please explain what questions/checks should be included to identify those you deem not worthy of exercising their 2nd amendment rights. If you propose banning gun ownership for the mentally disturbed, please provide guidelines for sane people to identify those unfit to exercise their 2nd amendment rights. If you propose banning certain guns, please clarify which guns should be banned versus those that should be kept legal for those exercising their 2nd amendment rights. Liberals keep chanting "We want sensible gun legislation". Here's your chance to outline these sensible ideas. Why do I have a feeling none will be forthcoming? Ah, yes...history.
-
Just as expected. All talk and no answers, but yet will blame the other side for no answers.
