HornDawg, I am not, I am listening to it on here too just like you. Just going by what I heard the announcers say that the Raiders should be ahead at that point 21-0 if not for the turnovers. I know its part of football, just a country girl who misses a good football game with lots of actual fans. You and I may not be for the same team (although typically I like H-F) I have a lot of family in Fannett and my best friend is in Hamshire, I THINK we can both agree that there is nothing like high school football TEXAS style to get you worked up on a Friday night!

Another one! I may give up! I am too far to be this stressed!!! Three turnovers and one interception. But a few minutes ago they missed a field goal. Should be 30-0. Instead they are losing 7-6. Doesn't matter that they are doing decent at holding, when you give up that many points!

Longhorns intercepted! Lumberton better get back into it! They should be ahead 28-0. I had gone upstairs earlier and they just said Lumberton has over turned it four times. TD! HORNS!

Awesome! They have said a couple of times that "this Lumberton Defense" refuses to let the Longhorns do anything. If we hadn't given the ball up a few times (just one fumble) then we should be up 21-0. They made the comment earlier that they were surprised at how Hanna and Beard looked, just like last year!!! They were talking about how proud Coach Creader should be. Lumberton just caused a turnover and has it deep in Hamshire territory 25 yard line.

I know I kind of hope they go on and start evacuating this weekend. My parents aren't sure if they will be able to come up this way because of if they evacuate LA. Have you heard anything about evacuations? And a nosey question, how are you always "in the know" being in Alaska???? And how bout that governor of yours???? Woo-Hoo!!

Thanks VHS and jollyroger! That is what I figured since it is always around Halloween. Too bad! I will be in town the week they play PNG. Trying to decide if I should go to the Vidor game or Lumberton game--I have always wanted to take my kiddos to a Vidor Homecoming though!

Does anyone know when Vidor's Homecoming is this year and who they play?

We (Lumberton) did not need to impress anyone as long as we won and we did!

I as been a long time since I have lived in the area, but if they are still like they used to be, one of their biggest problems used to be that they had good teams in Jr. high but by the time they got to Varsity level they all quit the team. Don't know what the reason is or was for that because the team is never going to go anywhere if they quit because they don't want to play for Vidor.
