1. 21st Perfect Game in MLB history on the 21st of April vs. Seattle.
2. 7th Inning Livingston 6-3 6-3, nice stretch by Blem at first to help get the out. 1-3 Ball Game.  Bears win 5-2. Bears need to beat Nederland next week to at least tie for second.
3. 6th  Inning Livingston HBP K 4-3, runner advances to 2nd F-7 LCM Andrew Lantrip in to pitch for Livingston Garza E-6 Fults K Pinch runner for Garza stole 2nd but then called out when he overslide 2nd and ump thought his hand came off the bag (didn't look that way to me but ump was just a little bit closer to the base). Carline infield single. Burleigh 1B to CF.  Wind held ball up, CF made a nice attempt coming in to catch it. Dove for it, was stretched out, had it in his glove but couldn't hang on when he hit the ground.  This was about the 4th or 5th ball today the wind played havoc with.  Carline advanced to 3rd. Adams F-7 near the fence. After 6, Bears lead 5-2
4. 5th Inning 1B Runner advances to 2nd on errant PO throw. Brandon Humphrey in to pitch for LCM E-1 scores runner from 2nd, batter goes to 2nd 6-3 F4.  Burleigh did a good job chasing the ball down that was being blown around by the wind. E6.  Ball dropped when SS and 2nd collided in the middle of the infield going after the pop-up.  (better than the ball hitting the ground untouched with both players looking at one another).  Runner stayed at 2nd goes to 3rd. Runner at 1st goes to 2nd. K LCM Burleigh BB Adams bunt single, Burleigh goes to 3rd on throw to 1st. Swan RBI 1B.  Adams goes to 3rd. Blem RBI on U-3, Swan advances to 2nd. Richards K Droulliard RBI 1B Droulliard out at 2nd on steal attempt. After 5, Bears lead 5-2
5. 4th Inning Livingston F-8 1B 1-3 advances runner to 2nd HBP, E-6, ball gets by 1st, run scores, runners on 1st and 3rd K LCM Droulliard 2B Garza F6 Fults F7 Carline 6-3 After 4, Bears 2-1
6. 3rd Inning F-8 Bunt single F-9 F-9 LCM Ryan Carline 1B Burleigh sac bunt, Carline advances to 2nd. Adams BB Swan RBI 2B, runners on 2nd and 3rd. Blem 3-4 at first. Richards 5-3 After 3, Bears 2-0
7. 2nd Inning Livingston 1B Line-out to RF.  Right Fielder made a great play on the line drive and on the throw back to first BARELY missed doubling up on the runner. 6-4-3 DP ends the inning. LCM Shea Richards K Zach Droulliard BB, then steals 2nd. Jake Garza lines out to the RF. Reid Fults K After 2, Bears lead 1-0.
8. Starting Pitchers: for LCM, Reid Fults for Livingston, Josh Moore The wind made things interesting today. First Inning Livingston 2B sac bunt advances runner to 3rd. F5 K LCM Casey Burleigh 2B, advances to 3rd on a PB.. Kevin Adams 6-3 RBI, Burleigh Scores James Swan K Alex Blem F7 After 1, Bears 1-0
9. LCM, Livingston and Nederland all have 4 losses in district.
10.
According to KOGT, they are willing to wait until 11pm if the outfield is okay. [Hidden Content]
That's past my bed time!!! :( :( :(
11. Congratulations PNG.  With they way the Indians play defense its no wonder why they won district.  Incrediable catch by Bertrand to rob Fults of a base hit. Good pitching by both teams.  Jayce Nelson went all the way for PNG.  Brandon Humphrey, Dillon Young and Alex Blem pitched for the Bears. I think LCM actually outhit PNG 5-4 but timely hits is what's important.  Defensive errors gave up at least 2, maybe 3 unearned runs.

13.
Biggest case of" home cooking" I have ever witnessed in alot of years of watching baseball.Livingston played great they did not need the extra help.If those two guys called everyone of Livingstons games the Lions would be undefeated.9 against 11 is not a fair game! Have never witnessed two umpires have a conversation with the home coach about a call and not let the visiting coach in on the conversation.Especially when the call goes the home teams way reversing the original call.Just so happens it was in the same inning Livingston scored it's 2 runs. With no one on base the home plate umpire over rules the first base umpires call that livingstons first baseman's foot came off the bag.Lead off batter for Nederland in the inning.Sure would like to know what was said in the conversation!

Man Up did you hear me complain about calls in the Vidor and PNG losses? That bust out inning Livingston had they had one hit in it and alot of help with a reversed call.Pitcher for Livingston was great and we should have been entertained with extra innings but the umpires made sure they got home on time. One has to ask why there were only two umpires at the game.No doubt Nederland should be playing better and not leaving it in the umpires hands.Just the way it goes when you are struggling. One thing is for sure. There were some awful 'Fishy" calls in the lake Livingston area last night!
If you've been watching a lot of baseball over the years as you claim, especially games at Nederland, you would have to agree that over the years Nederland has had an awful lot of calls go their way when they are at home.  I recall several ridiculous calls that have gone against LCM the previous two years.  (This past years game at Nederland was a very well called game, LCM just stunk it up). By the way, in MY years of watching baseball, umpires don't generally have discussions with both coaches at the same time (but I'm not saying that it NEVER happens).  Generally they discuss a situation with one coach and then after the ruling may talk to the other coach to give an explanation.  After the call was made after talking to the Livingston coach, if the umpire didn't go to the Nederland coach then the Nederland coach should have gone to the umpire to discuss.  Mr. Ump1 may be able to give some better insight on how these situations are handled. Even if the Nederland runner was ultimately ruled safe at first (if I correctly understood what was posted), as good as the Livingston pitchers are, he most likely would have been left stranded there or been put out at 2nd on a DP.

21. I think the PA News and the Orange Leaders (same companies) gets their news from SETXSPORTS.COM/FORUM. Seriously, I've posted things on here that showed up almost verbatim on the Orange Leader.
22.
Lions shook up things in 20 4-A tonight!
Don't be so surprised, Livingston's been in the mix all season long.  In fact they've been on the edge of getting into the playoffs for the last couple of years. Livingston may very well have the top 1-2 pitchers in district. Despite the records, I don't think there really is a whole lot of differences between the top four teams in district.  PNG is undefeated which speaks well of their consistency in the field and timely hitting but if I recall all of their games against Nederland, Livingston and LCM have been pretty close.
23. Zach Droulliard (Sr, LCM) hit his 5th against Central (4/13/2012). Bears have 8 players with HR this year.
