Didnt get around to commenting on the WOS game last week but great game.  I made a comment on another thread about the class you guys showed when Vidor came out there and played.  I cant imagine the emotion that was involved in that game against WOS but I can tell you that the Kville fans, players, and coaches are fantastic.  I look forward to seeing you guys in the playoffs.  You have made a huge fan here and I tell you when you guys play in the playoffs Im going to make the trip to watch.  You guys will make SETX proud.

Tinkle is as tuff as they come and should be alright I think.  You have to tie him to the bench to keep him out.  I havent herd about Clark

The O line played great in the second half and lets give a huge game ball to Greg Buford who started at QB for Vidor.  Dozier is a little nicked up.  Great job Buford,  you played great.

This young Vidor team is getting better and better every week.  If we can put it all together for the whole game we will have a chance at upsetting the Bears at home.  GO PIRATES

I forgot to give a big congrats out to Greg Buford.  He started at QB last night and was great.  That touch down throw was great even though he knew he was going to get smoked after he let it go.  Great job Greg.  ;)

Lets give some props to a group of guys that you never hear about.  The O line in the second half played great.  Eric Jerrell on that fumble recovery that keep the drive alive when we were down 10.  If he didnt do that we would have been in big trouble.  Defense,  great job in the first half but the second.  ???  Good job Pirates.  Keep getting better.

I can see how coach matthews is trying to get some passing into the Vidor offense but we just need to work on Dozier. He is a great kid and dang good ball player but he's just not used to passing a lot. You gotta think he has run that same offense for about three years. Hey soulja, I know Ive used undisipline when refering to Ozen.  Not refering to race like has been said on other threads. I picked them to be in the top 4 this year and maybe they still will.  I know you want an explaination so I'll give you mine.  When I refer to undisipline I am refering to stupid mental mistakes AKA penalties that are drive killers.  (false starts, holding, personal fouls)   A perfect example of an undisipline team was my Pirates last Friday against Lumberton.  Touchdowns called back. (Holding)  Dont even get me started on the false start penalties.  We had a ton.  The field out in Raiderland might as well have been a yellow carpet with all the penalties we committed.  We are young, but have talent, but not enough to overcome stupid mistake after mistake after mistake.  Ozen,  at least when we have played them, have been the same way.  They are scary talented but do alot of the shooting themselves in the foot.
