I told yall you better watch out for Nederland in the Vidor thread.  When we played them the pass timing was way off which made it easier for us to come after the QB.  I like the Dogs.  They are going to be good.

They then decided to run out of the same formation but hand the ball off to the outside. This resulted in some yards gained and it took the attention off the middle. I thought the PNG-Livingston game was a shocker.  Not discounting the Lions, but to come to PNG and win.  Wow  :o.  I think its great livington did so well.  Just didnt know much about them except they where being rumered to be moving districts about a million times before the realignments came out.  Great game Lions.  You proved me wrong.

If Kirbyville can beat WOS, they have a chance.  They are really good.  I picked WOS after  Vidor had played both teams.  Now,  without Reggie I am not sure.  WOS could be playing with so much emotion that nobody will beat them this year.  But, Just like all the ESPN and NFL analist say the QB spot is the most important and if the young WOS QB can maintain and not make big mistakes than they will do well.  Kirbyville is a beast though.  At the end if this looks like I am on the fence you are right.  I'm chicken.  ;D  Good Luck

[/quote] These forums crack me up.....on this board, fans are upset becuase they "expected the Nederland coaches to be going nuts" and over on the Barbers Hill board, they are complaining because the coaches were going nuts.  Its funny that on every board, when a team loses, it is always the coaches fault.  They should have passed more if they ran the ball, they should have run the ball more if they passed, it was the refs faults,etc, etc....  More times than not, the team with the best athletes wins (IMO).  Maybe this year, Vidor is just a little more athletic than Nederland (I don't know, because I have never seen either play).  But I think history proves the coaching ability of the Nederland staff.  I mean, I don't remember the last year that Nederland was not in the playoffs. [/quote] Hear we go,  potential pass penalties.  Number 11 on those passes was a sophmore.  Yes, we are young on defense also.  That was not "sophmore" coverage that was "varsity' coverage.  Had them stide for stide and shut down.  There was nothing to complain about.  Great game Q
