Hardin-Jefferson 51 vs. Silsbee 62/FINAL
Tigers94 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Jackson and Bottley played just as well for Silsbee as anyone. I think HJ did a decent job keeping Miller and Harris in check. -
After how the HJ and Jacksonville games have gone, I think Silsbee is gonna have to settle for winning ugly from here on out. We've knocked Furr out of the playoffs so many times these past few years, I'm sure they're going to be wanting some of the Tigers. So long as we don't play terrible, Tigers by 6.

3/3/23, United vs. Katy Jordan Regional Semifimal
Tigers94 replied to BMTSoulja1's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Just saw a clip of this fight. [Hidden Content] Wasn't much of a brawl. Just two kids traded punches. Rule are rules, I guess, but I sorta feel bad for Martin going down like that. Anyways, only thing standing in BU's way of a three peat is BU. I'm sure Coach Green will have them ready every game and not let that happen though. -

Speaking of which.... Just saw where Lake Highlands almost lost to Arlington Martin. Martin only had 5 players playing due to a bench clearing brawl in the previous game. I'd say they're very beatable when the time comes. -

United by 20+ I don't see a lot of strong wins on Jordan's resume besides maybe Arlington Martin. -

Rebounding was a problem. I think we did pretty well other wise. -

It's been pretty nice playing only other small town teams so far. That's over though. Going to have to play even better to make it to state. I do like the way we played defense tonight. -

Beaumont United 71 vs Beaumont West Brook 60/FINAL

Not sure really. I know he did all the WB (and maybe BU if I remember right) home games. Might have just got the new gig though. -

Smart time out. Like I said, don't let the Tigers get up by double digits and start to smell blood. -

It's the Silsbee way. It'll drive you nuts sometimes though. Less so when a few of them start falling. If you're HJ, you'd better do everything you can to keep Silsbee from going up 10+ in the 3rd. -
Little Cypress-Mauriceville 46 vs. Center 53/FINAL
Tigers94 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
They'd better not get tired and give out in the 2nd half like they're prone to. Gonna have to dig deep and lay it all out there. -
Little Cypress-Mauriceville 46 vs. Center 53/FINAL
Tigers94 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Most of the games I seen Silsbee play Center, it was an ugly slugfest. It'll probably be the same tonight if they have their way. Bears are gonna need another 40 points from Elliot to have a chance. -
Silsbee vs Hardin Jefferson Playoffs Predictions
Tigers94 replied to BADSANTA's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Waco Connally is always a solid squad, but not quite good enough to be on that next level. What I am interested in is Sulphur Springs vs Faith Family that's likely to happen. As for Silsbee, I really don't feel like we've played a complete game yet. Lets fix that Tuesday. -
Silsbee vs Hardin Jefferson Playoffs Predictions
Tigers94 replied to BADSANTA's topic in High School Boys Basketball
West Brook makes better sense if they're not gonna do a double header. Silsbee by 15. Tigers should be improved from the first game. They were just two weeks removed from football the first game. -
Beaumont United 87 vs Dickinson 63/FINAL
Tigers94 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Duncanville wins state again if they were allowed to play. I think their opponents would put up better fights though since they're a litter weaker compared to last year's team. Too bad for them. -

PA Lincoln still may lay claim to that. Who's really in BU's way to offer up serious resistance? Austin Westlake went down to San Marcos. Lake Highlands had a good scare against Plano East but are still alive. Seven Lakes might put up fight. I think a bad game is the only thing keeping BU from 3 peating. -

Silsbee 74 vs. Jacksonville 60/FINAL
Tigers94 replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in High School Boys Basketball
Tigers played an okay game. No Harris for most the first half really hurt us. I'll give Jacksonville some credit. They were a little tougher than I thought they'd be. Be nice if we don't start off the next game with wet toilet paper defense
