Rice went from the end of the bench last year to starter this year. That's quite an improvement. Really hope to see similar improvement from Boulwen next year. This is really like his first season playing since he barely got to play last year due to an injury. Not that it matters for the Tiger varsity this season, but I really like Johnson's passing game and court vision. He'll make for an excellent floor general next year. Yeah, the dunk count was 2 - 0. Y`all missed Harris's best dunk due to that stupid camera.

Didn't realize WOS was THAT young till they announced their starters. They desperately need a big body or two. Their JV team was putting up a good fight against ours for about a quarter. Then the Tiger JV got real with them.

I believe the rules are you have to wait a year from the time you transferred to play. Keep in mind I saw this on Max Preps, so take it with a slight grain of salt. Not sure why anyone would just add him to their roster though unless they were seriously confused.

Could really see Lumberton slipping to 4th or not making it if they lose to Bridge City Tuesday. Interesting to see Tristan Dean listed as a player on their roster now. Obviously he won't play this year. Didn't realize Jasper's starting center is hurt till last night. I still got them going 2 - 1 the rest of the way.

That's how you finish a game. Rice with the dunk to cross the century mark and, more importantly, the 3 - 2 dunk count lead.

Yeah, they're done. Some of these Jasper kids are trying to play 1 on 5. That's one of their problems I see.

Jasper has all the size and athleticism to compete in 4A, yet they'll probably being fighting for 3rd or 4th place in district. A real head scratcher how they've lost to some of the teams they have. I hope the Tigers can build that lead up to a comfy 30+ by the time the 3rd quarter is over. Put them away.

I'd really like to see Jacob take over when time comes. With the new star player on the way next year and it looking like Silsbee should have no problem surrounding him with talent, I think Coach Sigler sticks around a few more years after the 24 class graduates.

He's a sophomore. Come a long way in one year. From mainly garbage time minutes only last year to starter this season. Would like to see him clear the boards a bit better. Maybe hit the weight room more.

I'm certainly glad Coach Brooks has mellowed out a bit from a few years ago. It hasn't affected how the kids play for him at all either.

If I remember right, I think Lumberton was missing a kid that played in the first matchup. Sort of tall and husky. Might explain a little why they looked so small. Kinda wondering if the Tigers move Shoulders (#14) back up to varsity or not. Might not since it's so late in the season, but these JV games are looking way too easy for him.

Wow. That's a big win for Kountze. Any chance the Lions surrounding Sells with good talent? I know a school about 10 minutes down Highway 327 he can come play at if not.
