Must be before my time. I've heard a lot of things sitting in the stands over the years. One thing I've never heard or witnessed is anyone being satisfied with the officiating. It would be nice if the ref the farthest away wasn't usually the one making the bad calls.

52 - 30 Not a fan of us already giving up 30 points. Of course the bench has seen plenty of court time tonight.

Wow. Had no idea it was that bad. Last year in b-ball it was Wardlow who did most the damage to the Tigers. Wonder if he got any offers to play somewhere.

That's a remarkable drop off from where they were at just a year ago. One specific player graduating has a lot to do with it. Usually the Mustangs have enough athletes to make the Tigers have to work for it. That doesn't look like it'll be the case tonight.

Still a bit concerned about us not having our 3-year starting PG for the season. Even if he came back, it'd take time to get into shape. Still, if the shots are falling, I like our odds in the region. Even if we only shoot the ball decently like we did against Jasper, it's enough to pull away from a team. What I want to see is the defense keeping it up. Keep everyone to 50ish points a game should be a goal.

Found a clip of the first Harris dunk that was cut off by the camera. There's a reason why they just let him have the second one.

Does the Elliot kid at LCM have any real help? Had LCM at the #2 spot in district. Starting to question that if they lose to Lumberton.

I swear Silsbee had about a dozen or more shots that'd do everything but go in. Sometimes I think these home rims really hate us for some reason.

Pretty sure it's like football, so that means 4 teams get in. I've got Silsbee and LCM as #1 and #2. Who knows what it'll be after that.

Probably be like playing WOS these past few seasons. Might win by 6, might win by 40.

Might be closer than some think for just a little while if the Tigers start off cold. Seen some of these teams get all hyped up for us at the start and play okay for a bit. Silsbee by 20 plus though. Does anyone know if they're doing phone only for tickets again? I barely got mine to go through last year. Not sure I'll go if it's that way again.

Would love for Silsbee to make it back to State again, but it's far from a guaranteed thing. Still worry a bit when we start off a game tossing up a bunch of bricks from the 3 point line. Didn't hurt us much against Vidor, but obviously doing that against a better team could be costly.

Sucks Dean left. He was making solid contributions to the team. Williams was there and participated in warmups. I don't remember if he got put in the game or not. Silsbee has about a half dozen kids of about the same height and build. It can be confusing if you're not paying close attention. Might leave a spot open for someone now. Silsbee already has a 16-man roster if you include Harper though. Even the JV suits up out about 15 - 16, which I haven't seen in a while for a Tiger JV team.

Swear we shoot the ball better away from home. #11 was about the only kid Vidor had that looked like he wanted to play. Think some of these announced heights are off. Rice is about 6'6 and I doubt some of our other kids have shrunk since last year. and is there a reason why Dean is missing? Noticed he's been out since I think the HJ game.

Just some final thoughts. So did everyone enjoy having a shot clock? I know I did. Also, that little point guard for Windermere was something else. All of about 5'6 and couldn't be stopped. A shame his height will limit him at the next level. Arkansas has some really good basketball. Wonder if Silsbee will skip Dallas again next year for the King Cotton Classic. Silsbee, let's get ready for Vidor. It feels like it's been an eternity since we got a home game. I'm more excited for this than I probably should be because of that. And no more losses for the year now that we're stuck in 4A for the rest of the season.
