How do you even allow a 21 - 0 run to happen? That's just plain bad. Hopefully we'll at least be 7 - 11 heading to Arkansas. Prefer 8 - 10 but that might be too much.

One thing I'm sure of. It's either gonna be a really close game that either team can win, or the Tigers get blown out. Very underwhelming performance by Silsbee in the last game of the Cypress tournament. We need both of our stars going off in the same game from now on. I think Harris only had 8 points in the Dickinson game. It'd also be nice if we could learn to take charges instead of letting teams drive right by us for easy layups at the rim. I think Lufkin takes this one, especially if the team that showed up against Harker Heights makes and appearance tonight. It'll be a blowout then. I'm a homer though, so I still voted for Silsbee in the poll.

I remember last year Lufkin had one or two good little point guards that did most the damage against Silsbee. Sounds like they're pretty loaded this year. Tigers might be in for a hard night. I'll feel a little better if Williams comes back soon.

It's not like NS has dominated Duncanville in any of their games played. They needed a miracle to beat them the first time. Duncanville's all everything quarterback got hurt right before the rematch, and the 3rd game was a close low scoring affair. I say they finally pull one off. Just barely though. Their running back Durham has been outgaining some of their opponents all by himself. Rushed for another 200 yards last night. Kid could set records if he got the ball enough.

Scary to think this Duncanville team should be even better next year. Just don't end up like the b-ball team in a few months if they win next week.

SOC is LBJ on steroids. Watched them play a few games early in the year. They gave Duncanville all they wanted, athough Dville really wasn't playing very well early in the season. Watched them lose to Lancaster and Desoto. They're really good on defense. Great athletes at every position. They have had some issues on offense this year though.

They should have just stayed in bed this morning. Hopefully Williams will be back next week. More concerned about Harper. Trey Haynes and Damien Jones are the only kids who graduated off the team from last year. Don't remember what their numbers were.

And some of y`all think Carthage could win in 5A lol.

I was happy with two wins. I think I may get greedy and want more now. How has Summer Creek done? A rematch after last year's game might be fun.

Not sure. Teams have been getting to the basket for easy baskets against Silsbee all year. Need to get that fixed.

United was lights out with their free throw shooting last night. Keep shooting FTs like that will certainly help them in close games in the playoffs and district. Silsbee just needs to focus on getting better with each game from here on out.

Man that gym was packed last night. Standing room only on the Tigers side. Not a place to be if you're claustrophobic. Of course I wake up sick this morning, but it was worth it I guess. Tigers will be fine eventually. They looked rough last night. Some of that had to do with who they were playing The other half needs to start improving and getting better pronto. I didn't see Boulwen play either to go along with Williams or Harper. I think BU could have won 5A again this year. It's a shame they got moved up to 6A by only a few kids. They still got a chance, but 6A is a completely different beast. Watching their JV play it looks like they got a bunch of little point guards who can shoot the ball really well. Not sure if they got any good big kids on the rise or not yet.

Madison must not be any good this year. Think the head coach from last year had to quit over something.
